The Coffee House Wall – 16th/22nd May

Posted on May 16, 2016

This is the Coffee House Wall for this week. I won’t say that it is your chance to communicate with us, as we are all in this together. It is, nevertheless, the Conservative Blog post that has no particular theme, and where everything is on topic. Let’s just remember that we want to avoid ad hominem attacks on others. We don’t want to engage with trolls. We want to moderate our language ourselves as responsible and mature adults, choosing to use fruity language only where it is necessary. This is our opportunity to show what the Spectator Coffee House Wall could have been like.

Apparently the Greater Manchester Division of the Keystone Cops have been at it again: not only did they upset the Muzzies by shouting ‘Alluah Akbar during in police terrorism training exercise in a shopping centre, but yesterday one of them left a mock-up bomb at Old Trafford in another security exercise by mistake causing panic – and cancellation of the Man U v Bournemouth match – the last game of the season. Who is going to pay whom in compensation, I wonder?

They have not decided to start another series of ‘Operation Good Guys’, have they? And these ‘mock ups’ were for the first two episodes?

If not … then some enterprising TV producer should. No script needed just use the newspaper reports. Real life follows art yet again. ☺

Oh Dear Oh Dear Oh Dear. Turns out the ‘Security Chief’ who left the ‘bomb’ behind the Carsey door is an ex Met Police copper. They forced him to eat crow in front of the TV Cameras a few minutes ago. Oops!

I hate to think what Richard Littlejohn is going to do with this one. I can see him at the keyboard now, giggling away, as he crashes out the latest YCMIU masterpiece.

I bet the GMP and their ‘Security Outsource’ are hoping he’s on holiday already.

  5. Frank P says:

Apparently the Security Chief forgot to count the number of “devices” when they were collected, after the exercise.

Mrs FP: ” Perhaps he lost some fingers in a real terrorist incident?”
She’s cruel. But then she has been married to the Met for almost sixty years!

    Frank P – 17:26

I’m trying to think of a terrorist incident that wasn’t accompanied by that particular invocation of Allah. Seems perfectly reasonable to include that in the training script.

Also wasn’t yesterday’s unexpected discovery in the MUFC bogs a far better test of the preparedness of the GMKC and the bomb squad than the exercise they staged earlier in the week?

No haram done, really. I’m confident that MUFC will handle the delayed fixture confidently, and will triumph in the last minute of extra time, as usual!

And talking of soccer, the Leicester City fans turned out today in hundreds of thousands to fete the team and it’s manager. The only jarring moment was when Keith Vaz-eline managed to elbow his way to a Sky News camera and microphone and gush for about 5 minutes.

Even Gary Lineker eschewed a sound bite and let the players have their day. Vaz is such an oleaginous turd. Someone should have choked him with his Leicester City scarf rather than interviewing him.

I’ve been enjoying Michael Lord Ashcroft’s [‏@LordAshcroft] “Tweets” this week. He has been relentless and merciless in taking the piss out of, primarily, Dave but also other remainiacs.

He is good source for polling information as he publishes the results of all polls and not just those of his own organisation. Viewing some of these “polls” I cannot help but think that they are being manipulated to herd the sheeple into to remainiac camp!

I have received a pamphlet from The Electoral Commission entitled “The 2016 EU referendum voting guide ”

It contains statements from the two sides . `Vote Remain` looks like a conservative party leaflet and is a strong message.
`Vote Leave` looks like it is from the Labour party and is much weaker. It comes from the other side of the conservative party which excludes the GO> campaign along with UKIP and Nigel Farage.

It can be found on line, below (scroll down to link).

These days, I think that satire is beyond the Beeb due to the paucity of creative talent in the people that they hire. No diversity at the Beeb, just lefties without an ounce of comic ability – the list is too long to mention but they are the heirs of Ben Elton and the supremely unfunny and talentless Marcus Brigstocke.

Speaking of Ben Elton, I watched an Episode of “Upstart Crow” last night. Wow! Ben has produced one hell of a leaden turd of a script there. It’s really shit! Hopeless! I actually felt sorry for the cast, because some of them have been very good in other productions. They’re drowning not waving!

The man with the perfect moniker for his track record, Professor Nutt, has now embarked on trying to get Magic Mushrooms into the prescribed drugs schedules (on the NHS of course), for people suffering depression.

I confidently predict that there will a steep increase in Depressive illness.

If you go down in the woods today, make sure you let Nutty know, he’ll certify you as in need of psychiatric assistance.

Reminds me of the fella who developed fungus under his foreskin.

He reported to the doctor, who said,, “Well … there’s not mushroom for anything else, is there?”

First I heard of Nutt I thought : here we go again;this is where we started with Timothy Leary.(Might go into it with more time.)
Not that I’m against it in principle. Many of us have had to go to the chemists for far more powerful items to be used by the district nurse (although I don’t know how things are done these days) so I don’t object to cannabis for medical use in extremise. A some point we have to trust doctors even if some of them are drug pushers and others want to kill people.

Yes well … in the days of psychedelic mania, when a great deal of LSD was garnered from LSD, as someone who had to deal daily with the damage caused by the idiocy, I rather took against those who peddle the crap or espouse its legalisation. One of the worst of many incidents involved a lass of about 18 years of age who, according to her room-mates thought that she could fly after taking a couple of tabs of the shit; to prove it she launched herself from a third floor window of a terraced house in Notting Hill and did indeed fly quite well for about 30 feet, vertically! Unfortunately she somersaulted on the way down and landed astride the iron railings of the basement stairs below. One hopes that she had lived a blameless life prior to her experiment and was handed her wings as she passed through the Pearly Gates. There were 8 million stories in the Metropolis, that was just one of them. Just facts, Radford, just the facts. And the medium is still the message. Ask the disciples of Saul Alinsky, who himself was a disciple of the little Eyetie cripple, Antonio … who is to blame for much of the current chaos of Western Civilisation.

It’s possible to ‘intellectualise’ common sense out of the window, as the poor girl proved. All in the name of a fucked up ideology. Grrr!

I’m with Anthony Daniels aka Theodore Dalrymple. His take on legalising dangerous drugs was comprehensively delineated in his book, “Romancing Opiates: Pharmacological Lies And The Addiction Bureaucracy (2006) ISBN 1-59403-087-1 (published in the U.K. as Junk Medicine: Doctors, Lies and the Addiction Bureaucracy ISBN 1-905641-59-1)

If you haven’t read it, it would be worth the time and effort. You could probably pick it up for a song on the intertubes. What he didn’t learn as a practising doctor in a Birmingham Hospital, he learned a prison doctor at Winsome Prison.

Nutt is an enabler of evil, whichever way you define it. Another SJW with a mission.

How about a compromise, Frank, we legalise the stuff, abolish the NHS, switch to an insurance system for and by each individual.

As it is, the knowing that the NHS will step in, save the abuser (before he or she flies, obviously) if things go wrong, makes any banning of the weed and other substances of evil ineffectual, vain, toothless.

Hundred years ago or so, drugs available over the counter, poverty, hunger, despair everywhere in abundance, and yet the prevalence of serious drug abuse, whether prescription or illegal, was minuscule compared to today. People knew if they did indulge, got into a shite, they die, there was no NHS, other agencies of the welfare state to save them.

… (Contd) … Henry Fielding used his Magisterial powers to inaugurate the Bow Street Runners and later when Mayhew, then Peel and Mayne got a grip of the underworld life was cheap. Laudanum was widely used and hoi polloi drank themselves to death with gin anyway, usually before they were 40. Nobody gave a fuck – it was anarchy.

The rookeries located to the North east of Soho (the Seven Dials) were nests of poverty and debauchery. The ‘Tyburn Tree’ didn’t dissuade murder and mayhem.South and East London also were cesspits of human iniquity.

    Nothing new under sun, m’Lud.

And the big Pharmas these days are the most cynical pushers of all. Moreover the parasites among the higher echelons of medicine aid and abet them by ripping off the taxpayer by over prescription and are rewarded with boondoggles and funding for their ‘research laboratories’.
There are some dedicated heirs of Hippocrates around, but the profession has its fair share of quacks and charlatans, too. Like all public services.
On that score, you are dead right. The less government the better – provided there is a dedicated, well trained Constabulary with independent powers the right criteria for recruitment. I fear that era is over and what’s coming down the road is sinister and horrifying.

The centre of the British constitution is the Queen in parliament. The State Opening of Parliament today surely raises the question of what is the role of “the queen in parliament” and its relevance to the referendum on continued EU membership, when the European Union is bleeding sovereignty out of the body politic.

The absence of a Sovereignty Bill from the Queen’s Speech is perhaps a first time in English history since the trial of Charles 1 where in effect an intention to abolish the monarchy has been disclosed to the people. If I were the monarch, and had a vote, I would vote to leave the Euripean Union. unless some grander role had been offered, and hope that my subjects would follow my lead. Charles 1 of course had invited what, to the English if not to Charles Stuart, was a foreign army into England in support of his authority to crush their freedom; though of course he did not see it that way. Today, the Gendarmerie is being prepared to do the job, should the British armed forces lose their nerve and choose honour.

What choice positions, what pelf, what POTTAGE have Mr. Cameron and his supporters in both parties been offered by those invisible, mysterious and non-accountable forces who govern Brussels?

    http://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/the-danger-of-the-black-lives-matter-movement/2/

One real jump-out statistic was that whites make up 33% of New York’s population and are responsible for 2% of the shootings; blacks make up 23% of the population but are responsible for 75% of all shootings, 70 percent of all robberies, and 66 percent of all violent crime. Neil offered some stark statistics where the conclusion ought to be self-evident but lefty TUC woman not having any of it. Pay employees more and somehow this will discourage EU economic migrants from countries with very low incomes. Eh?

The narrative on all this seems to be firmly in the hands of the left and I’m mighty fed up with the bollocks. I’d like to see a balanced, objective view that is not screamed at as being anti-immigrant or immersed in turgid and predictably anti-indigenous left-wing ideology.

They give the impression of having already exceeded the quota many times over.

Is it really a supposedly conservative government’s role to impose quotas for leftist inspired identity group labels? It seems that the Tories have morphed into the Labour party and the Labour party has morphed into the SWP. With the Lib Dem rump and the SNP war band in Westminster the true conservative heart of England is being gripped by the hydra of post-modern socialism, leading to yet more close encounters of the barmy kind.

The Ministry for Culture, Media and Sport is a concept worthy of Goebbels and the idea that one political creature, let alone someone like the compromised Whittingdale, can determine and control the shape of those things by interference and coercive legislation is most objectionable.

Now that Vichy Dave has drawn back from curbing the Socialist Propaganda Tax the BBC will go on the offensive and become even more hideously left wing. They will be contemptuous of Tory weakness and brazen in retribution. We who are about to watch will pay for their imposition of their dogma and cant.

QT was particularly distressing for the presence of a lunatic on the panel exploiting every question to rant irrelevantly about the Tories. A supposed economist who seemed to be confused between economics and class war and who in between rants and finger pointing sat glowering with a great big chip on each shoulder.

This dangerous lunatic insisted that the black population of Toxteth were brought there as slaves, presumably to work in the Staffordshire cotton fields or the sugar plantations of the Midlands. This episode escaped me during my study of history and I was unaware that blacks were still being brought to England as slaves after 1945.

An example of the type of irresponsible revisionism was the Liverpool Echo’s coverage of the Toxteth regeneration which made the statement in respect of St James Church, consecrated in July, 1775, that:-

“. . . an “African Garden of Remembrance” placed in the graveyard in recognition of the many slaves who were buried there.”

That contrasts with what the Diocese had said:-

“Many slave traders frequented the church and some of their slaves were baptised there. The Diocese thinks black slaves may be among those whose final resting places will be disturbed. It says it has been in discussions with Liverpool’s International Slavery Museum about the possible exhumations.”

For the facts read the posts at:-

    http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?10849-St-James-Church-dig-up-2-500-bodies-including-slaves

Which demonstrates how historical realities are being misrepresented by lefties to exploit post-modern racial strife agendas.

That type of barmy left wing revisionism in the Era of Dumb and Dumber is so dangerous that Mason really ought to be locked up for it. The last thing we need with the already creeping import of American race huckstered racial tension is a home grown lunatic stirring it up even more. The scariest part was that Mason’s lunatic insistence was applauded and did not receive the derision and ridicule it deserved.

I’d like to see the establishment of an award for the blatant exploitation of race and the instigation of racial strife. Something like the wooden spoon, with national coverage of the ceremony. Mason should be the first nomination.

That is correct. As long as you don’t watch live TV on any format you don’t need a TV Licence. And you are under no obligation to respond to any of their letters. They keep threatening me with an inspection, but of course they have no right of entry to your property outside or in. I’m looking forward to them coming to inspect my house, I haven’t had a TV for 15 years so the TV Licence people and I are old mates, because I’ve been here just two years and haven’t removed the large TV aerial or the satellite dish from the chimneys. Actually, there is really no hassle at all. Just dump the letters without a second thought and in the highly unlikely event they call, just close the door without saying a word. Have a look on You Tube for scores of videos where people take a more aggressive attitude to the boys from the Licence authority!

I can’t listen to anything at all now on the BBC, not even the radio. If the programmes are not dripping with putrid PC proselytising, they seem designed for the most retarded. Radio 3 now makes the Blue Peter of my youth look like The Ascent of Man (also on You Tube. Now there’s opinion alright, but formed from empirical observation and actual knowledge! How very novel!)

Good luck anyway. And just throw the effing TV in the bin – it’ll be the most cathartic thing you do this month, though you may then be stung by some order for inappropriate dumping!

Portmaneau’s face was a picture of haughty disdain before snorting out inanities down his ample schnozzle, in an attempt to save the situation.

All this on a day when the Home Office and Justice Department had arranged for convicted villains to serve their bird only on Saturdays and Sundays so that that they continue, from Monday to Friday, their chosen professions of Murder, mayhem, rape, robbery, burglary, paedophilia and assorted other occupations, now pursued by der untermenschen of UK in the EUSSR.

Very opportunely, the general melee of madness was enhanced when a convicted murderer, who had gone down for bludgeoning a stranger to death in the nineties and had recently been released ‘on licence’, managed to breach the perimeter wall of BuckHouse to ask the panicking ‘protection’ plods (when they eventually tracked him down) “Is Ma’am in residence today.” The Union Flag in full flutter above HM’s Official Gaff, indicated that she was indeed at home with Phil the Greek and divers heirs and spares, including Princess Michael of Kent who would also qualify as a life member of the Nutters’ Club, given her past escapades.

Well, the 20th was an ambivalent day. For myself, a process started by Heath and culminating in Bliar, with too many pricks to mention on the way, reached it’s logical conclusion for a once-proud Englishman. I made the pledge and became an Australian.

All I wish for now is that there are enough votes cast with mine to see the good ship Britain set sail from Europe to find its true course in the world. Selfishly, I hope you all vote to leave because I have no wish to return and fight in the civil war/war of independence that will undoubtedly ensue from a Remain win.

Congratulations. I am informed that you should apply for your Aussie passport and soon as your citizenship certificate is in your grasp. The question is, will you burn your British passport on June 24th if the Remainiacs win?

I suspect that the result is going to be 55% IN 45% OUT. I sincerely hope I’m wrong about that. Whether there will ultimately be a civil war or not depends upon whether The Donald wins the GE in November. If he fails, then America is finished, and England will slide meekly into a repressed subservience like post WW2 E.Germany.

There again, if we BRexit-eers fail on June the 23rd, if the British people fail to set an example/make a stand, then the torch of freedom and democracy will pass to Marine Le Penn. She will then be the only politician in Europe capable of carrying it. If she takes France, as is possible, then the EU will be finished. It’s about time the French came to our aid for a change, eh!

EC – we’ll be in line first thing Monday AM (with elderly relatives, we need them. Once you make the pledge, your UK passport is useless – you can leave, but you can’t get back in without an Aussie passport as the residents visa on your original passport is automatically voided as soon as you swear.)

As for keeping the British passport, I’ve promised myself I’ll renew as long as it no longer has ‘European Union’ anywhere on it otherwise the break is complete.

I firmly believe a remain vote will lead to civil unrest within a year or so as the hidden project of the EU is finally revealed to the sheople and the hordes swarm across the channel to occupy the land. I have no faith, but God help you if you vote to remain, because you’ll be f*cked otherwise.

This is what we are up against…

This morning my polling card arrived together with an pamphlet from the Electoral Commission, “The 2016 EU Referendum Voting Guide.” The two centre pages of this guide contain…

“…the main arguments for remaining a member or leaving the EU. The content is written by the organisations who are campaigning either for the UK to remain a member or leave the European Union and is printed exactly as it has been provided. This information is not from the Electoral Commission.”

    https://snag.gy/AOxUrR.jpg

When it comes to swallowing lies then who reads the small print! I always knew that the “official” Tory rump led “Vote Leave” camp would fuck things up. They have been creating division in the OUT camp from the day the referendum was announced. Was fucking it up their true purpose, I wonder? Too much to ask that they left the arguments to UKIP who would have produced more convincing and with more impact!

I’m suspicious of the well publicised rift in the Leave camp too.

The Electoral Commission leaflet is a deliberate deception as it claims the “experts” quoted are “independent” when they are anything but.

With the exception of a handful of naysayers who have half an eye on their own ambitions the Remain camp seem to be mainly the metropolitan elite who control the narrative and therefore have the louder “voice”. Many of them are self-appointed and unelected. Their argument is primarily economic which is to be expected from a privileged hegemony who talk socialism but expect others to live it. But who wants to live in a country with a “thriving” economy if it is grossly over populated (with the prospects of being more so), where the quality of life has been wrecked by an inadequate infrastructure and the daily fare is the constant warring of socialist created or imported identity groups squabbling for power?

Their answer is more urbanisation, more taxation and more government with the pretence of “devolution” by establishing yet another tier of politicisation from so called “mayors”. Rather than empowering ordinary people it simply empowers yet more agenda pursuing “leaders” and their ruling bureaucracies peddling and coercing the usual cultural marxist PC bullshit.

Who now speaks for the English? Not a single one of them. You can be a Scots nationalist, a Welsh nationalist, even a participating representative of the IRA, but woe betide anyone who speaks of English nationalism. That offensive and racist term “Little Englander” is thrown about by a sneering cabal of self haters, many of whom do not even hail from English stock.

If you or anyone here has to face down any anti-Trump crap, well I know you won’t need any advice from me for sure, but one thing that normally shuts up the touchy-feely narcissists whose pathology has now been renamed as progressism (by me anyway) is to ask the anti-Trump chump if they support Hillary, and when they affirm, ask if they know what a full-term abortion is? (And I recommend that you don’t google the details of this, another manifestation of lefty abhorrence) Because Hillary is a great believer not just in this, but in something that confirms my long espoused view that any ism of the left, socialism, communism, Marxism, is not an ideology, but a pathology, and that something, another contradiction in terms that only a psychopath could embrace with a disordered mind, is post-term abortion. Yes, when you next knock-up some girl some Saturday night, and what with one thing and another she’s up the duff quicker than you can say to Monica Lewinsky “Darling, did you see where did I left my cigar”, and she simply can’t find a window in her diary packed with visits to the clap clinic and what have you during the next 24 weeks, well she can have an abortion, when Hillary is POTUS, anything up to month after the birth of the child.

Yeah and verily. When I was a very young man, nurses and coppers interacted extremely closely in the Metropolis and abortion was still illegal. But they happened quite frequently, often in back street brothels that ran the service as a sideline. They also happened in hospitals, but they were cloaked under the heading D & C (Dilation and Curettage).

One night I visited my then girl-friend who was night duty nurse in operating theatre where only emergency ops. were performed at night, so there were long periods of inactivity on that shift. As I sat having a cup of Rosey and chatting I noted a jar containing fluid and something floating in it on a shelf by one of the operating tables. I picked it up and saw a fully formed foetus floating around in the bottle. As I held the bottle the ‘specimen’ twisted around and the face of the foetus broke into what appeared to be a grimace which then changed to a smile.

Abortion was rightly a pejorative word in those days. From that night on it was anathema to me.

I often wonder what would have happened to that person – clearly a male –
had he been allowed to live. He would have been in his sixties now and if his life had not been afflicted with fatal disease or accident he would have lived through one of the most interesting periods in the history of the human race. But given the circumstances of his unhappy mother, what sort of life would it have been? As it is he finished his very short existence in a research laboratory and then utimately in the toxic waste bin.

There were eight million stories in the Metropolis and this was just one of them. And if the walls of that operating theatre could relate what happened in the night duty theatre, other than emergency ops., it could be a blockbuster book.

It is indeed an anathema to me too. Which child could anyone look at and wish it wasn’t here. Of course abortion is another and enormous tool of the white genocide plan and that white women are aggressive proponents of this is yet another madness I try not to think about too much. Whites were 35% of the earth’s population at the end of the war, now we’re 8%. So the 500 million abortions in the USA doesn’t just mean the loss of that number, but their incalculable progeny. How many Holocausts does that add up to?
But your tale is haunting and is yet another reason that those of us who have been reading you for all these years now would wish to read your whole story.

What has it got to do with Obama or the EU.?
The TTIP is all about ,in crude terms,George Sores and the Bilderburgers putting it over on the rest of us.
TTIP is opposed from left and right:including by UKIP.
The policy of UKIP is to save the NHS from the Turks and from TTIP.
TTIP allows big American corperations to prosecute sovereign governments for laws passed in sovereign parliaments which impose on their ability to make profits.

“Turkey should be granted visa-free travel to the European Union from the end of June, officials recommended today, despite the country failing to meet a series of reform targets in time.

The European Commission issued a formal recommendation that visa requirements for 75 million Turks be lifted. It means that the population will be able to enter the Schengen zone for 90 days with just a passport.”

This is going to get the goat’s goat though.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-3603214/Turkey-course-join-EU-year-3000-insists-David-Cameron.html

So, 75,000,000 will be entitled to visas to enter the Schengen Zone and may be entitled to enter with merely a passport. This might well result in far more than the 12,000,000 Turks in the poll getting visas to England if there is an economic or geopolitical criisis or simply if the wind changes. And that’s just the Turks!

Cameron supports the breakdown of European civilization. It cannot possibly be argued that he is not aware of the implications of the immigration tsunami. He is NOT stupid. He supports and is a local leader of the destruction of English civilization. He takes orders and not from the English people -‘High-5’ Junker for instance. He is an ideological enemy of the country.
