This is the Coffee House Wall for this week. I won’t say that it is your chance to communicate with us, as we are all in this together. It is, nevertheless, the Conservative Blog post that has no particular theme, and where everything is on topic. Let’s just remember that we want to avoid ad hominem attacks on others. We don’t want to engage with trolls. We want to moderate our language ourselves as responsible and mature adults, choosing to use fruity language only where it is necessary. This is our opportunity to show what the Spectator Coffee House Wall could have been like.
While Verity eats her tortillas
Anne Wotana dreams of islamic drillers
And Nicholas growls on
While Big Frank with aplomb
Tells Peter to lead the troll killers
There was a Pickering called Ferrgus,
Whose dual persona was quite tremendous.
On one wall he was quite tremendous,
On the other a Troll Stupeendous
🙂
Oh my God, start the week again, please!
Fergus that is really crap, even for you. It scans poorly and the attack message is puerile.
C- and must do better. You are supposed to be a POET for goodness sake!

Nicholas, hello
If they can’t afford bread, let them eat cake
To teh drab Fergus Pickering … Your trite, unimaginative and provincial (don’t get out of England much, Pickers, do you?) thoughts are quite an emetic first thing on Monday morning, as I drink my Twinings and eat my toast and marmalade. After putting down Whiskas for feline brekkies.
AWK – Marie Antoinette said “brioche”, not cake. She seems to have misunderstood the start of the Revolution.
Well, in the fantasy world of ignorant, communist, tone deaf Britain, I see that “black list” has gone the way of the blackboard. Saying the word “black” in any circumstances is “racist”. The black list is now going to be known as the “red list”.
Why does’t Blamange Face open is hen’s arse mouth announce an end to this ignorant, thought fascist stupidity? Are women in Britain allowed to have a “little black dress” any more? What about dressing in “basic black”?
Do you now have to speak of “an aperture of light” instead of a chink of light? Or have they figured out that the Chinese are intelligent achievers and don’t need patronising affirmative language action devised by British self-elevating mahatamas in the public sector? By the way, David Cameron’s government ought to ban gweilo as that is a dismissive term for us, whites, in Chinese. Can you over there still describe frogs as frogs, or do you have to call them “hopping, croaking amphibians” so as not to offend our neighbours across the Channel?
Or is it just people of the Negroid race who are deemed so sensitive to language, which they mostly don’t understand anyway as they speak in their own patois.
There is something wrong with the n and the h key on my keyboard, which accounts for some of the strange spelling above.
And now, for me, the funniest news of today:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/17953792
Makes one wonder about the benefits we derive from today’s dinosaurs.
And from the illiterate Telegraph:
There is no such thing as a First Lady in France. When are the illiterates on Fleet Street going to understand that First Lady is an American term for AN AMERICAN JOB. It is a real job. It has office premises, a budget. Employees. It is an official position. It does not mean “wife of the president”. France does not have a “first lady”. It has a president and his wife.
This persistant ignorance and hunger to sound cool and American is nauseating.
Also, note to the Telegraph sub – in the link above, there should be an apostrophe between France and s. This known as the “possessive”. Such ignorance on a national paper!
Fergus – Wot Nicholas said. Your second line in particular is a metrical train crash.
With hindsight, I am not proud of having lampooned you last week and offer an apology for doing so but as someone who has published a book on how to write poetry, you should in turn be ashamed of posting such tosh.
You can’t have an apostrophe in a link, Verity. So unless there is no apostrophe in the actual headline it is not a mistake.
PfromM -You can’t have an apostrophe in a link? Is this a technical limitation? If so, sincere apologies to the Telegraph sub. And thanks for the info.
“Makes one wonder about the benefits we derive from today’s dinosaurs.”
The question is a non-sequitur. If you believe that the political views of those you disagree with make them dinosaurs then you already attribute no benefit or value to them whatsoever. That is the point.
But further, since the dinosaurs (e.g. ageing conservatives) have little or no political influence and their beliefs and values are increasingly irrelevant to the modern “narrative” being imposed there is little or no point in wondering about their impact. Ergo, the sly link and ageist insult is quite unnecessary.
Much more honest just to post a comment that you think the people here are irrelevant old dinosaurs expelling a lot of hot air. But so much for your much vaunted diversity, eh?
V
It would mess up the browser/server. Spaces aren’t very helpful either.
Didn’t know that, PfromM. Thanks. What about hyphens?
Oo-er, Nicholas. You have made quite an effort to demonstrate that the cap fits you. So wear it, you self-confessed ageing conservative.
By the by, by what strange and contorted logic have you arrived at the conclusions (a) that I disagree with you and (b) that the link I provided was sly and ageist?
If I entertained thoughts that the people here are (without exception) irrelevant old dinosaurs I would not waste my time inhaling their foetid hot air. But not all are.
Or do you simply wish to preserve this blog just for irrelevant old dinosaurs?
I watched Andrew Neil interview Ed Balls yesterday and found what he had to say impressive. It was mentioned at the Speccie but that just attracted the usual polarised views – the personalised attacks of those who can’t stand him and the sloganeering of the usual leftist trolls.
Balls’ message is essentially positive and comforting. Both a reassurance that the pain of austerity is unnecessary and to trust him – and the Labour party – to make all the nasty-wasty hurt go away. In an infantilised Britain this message is bound to be more welcome and seen as more positive – and therefore more seductive – than the negative doom and gloom of Osborne. In addition, because Balls is a socialist his privileged background and wealth are invisible. On the other hand Osborne’s message of austerity is at once compared negatively to his own cushioned position of wealth and privilege – so it is resented.
Because objective critical analysis is generally only applied by the media to conservative or right wing propositions, Balls has the luxury of delivering not just a more positive message but of escaping any real scrutiny. His message does not need to be proven right because the empirical evidence suggests that the Tory message is wrong. Fortune, as always, favours the Left. Balls did a superb job but did so with all the trump cards in his hand.
Yes, Hugh, I am indeed an ageing conservative. But “self-confessed”? Oh, dear, are we at that point already?
Hugh.
Should you wish to use the phrase ‘by the bye’ to introduce a different topic or in place of ‘in point of fact’ then do add the ‘e’ to the second by, there’s a good chap.
It pays to be correct particularly when addressing Nicholas.
PfM – perhaps you mean you can’t have an apostrophe in a URL. I think you can have anything you like in the link text.
Sorry, gloomy weather making me pedantic!
telemachus is on overdrive over at the Speccie, prematurely celebrating his deliverance of that once-conservative organ into the hands of the triumphalist Left.
But “envious”? No, not envious of a deception. Droning on maybe, but no more so than the sloganeering telemachus drones on. But selective quotes do not always represent things adequately so perhaps he should have cut and pasted everything I wrote about Balls and not just the last sentence.
The Speccie link to the “Alternative Queen’s Speech” provides this selective quote:-
“It will, no doubt, be presented by some commentators as a Right-wing agenda – or as a “lurch to the Right”. By Right many people mean extreme, or mean-spirited or narrow.”
This quote is not mentioned against the context of the Alternative. The extract highlights one the most invidious aspects of current left of centre politics, which is to seek to demonise or marginalise the dissenting viewpoint from the right. Since Cameron himself resorts to this trick it is hard to complain when Leftist mouthpieces like telemachus do it. In the Politics Show yesterday both Conservative and Lib Dem MP’s on the programme referred to the summarised concerns of post-election Tory councillors as those of “right-wing nutters”. This was both unfortunate and unfair as all the councillors did was to report what they were being told by the public they were canvassing. This point was missed by the MP’s on the programme and it has been missed by Cameron. Where I concur with telemachus is in the growing supremacy of left-wing politics, where any expression from the right of centre is steadily being marginalised as “foaming”, “frothing” or the ranting of “nutters”. And yet almost every day we see the hard left represented in the policies of the new “centre” ground, the centre left, with not a murmur, not a pejorative mentioned. There is a growing trend to make the right of centre politically incorrect, not just a dissenting viewpoint, and that should concern all conservatives. It is exacerbated by the fact that some of the conservative leadership, like Cameron, so readily lay claim to the left of centre ground and denounce those to the right. UKIP, the defection party, the party which seeks to represent conservative views about constitutional change, Europe and immigration, is also being condemned as “extremist” in some quarters, not just by the Left but by the Leftist “modernisers” of the Conservative Party too. As I have droned on about too often the “centre” ground has been shifted left and left the whole political spectrum skewed.
And no doubt the socialist collective, never slow to exploit an opportunity, revel in the possibilities opening up for “divide and rule” tactics in their relentless propaganda games, including a noticeable wave of “pretend Tory” trolling on blogs and websites.
Is a forced abortion or sterilization of a woman more or less objectionable than a forced clitorodectomy?
***
Still no word from Frank P.
I think that they are all objectionable, but I am in favour of linking long-term contraception implants with benefits for single mothers.
Yes. Where is Frank P????
David O @ 16:39.
Yes, it’s good to be correct so the third and fourth umpires, the OED and Brewer, have been consulted. The former rules the ‘e’ to be optional and the latter shows the phrase linked by hyphens, i.e., by-the-by.
Bye for now.
Paki bint with a British passport, so The Mail refers to her as “British” …
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2140528/Facing-death-penalty-pregnant-Briton-caught-smuggling-3-2-million-heroin-Pakistan.html
The “death penalty” referred to must be in Pakistan as we don’t have a death penalty, or even a “severely inconvenienced” penalty.
It warms the cockles of my heart that she’s facing death but why would Pakistan kill her if she was helping their trade?
I wish the British media would stop referring to gruesome invaders such as this as “Brtisih”. She’s a Paki, shortly to be a Paki stiff.
The Pakistani press say that she is from Peshawar.
I wonder how she came to have a British passport?
No doubt the ‘Uman Rights shysters will be pleading to spare her life as she is pregnant. Asylum in Britain, housing and all benefits. Never mind that this drug pedlar will help destroy the lives of many other children.
We really need to be shed of David Sha-moron. I don’t know that any country could survive three appalling, self-serving, creepy, self-congratulatory failures in the prime minister’s office in a row. Britain is already falling down round everyone’s ears … and you’re only just approachig the insanity of the long outdated olympics – Tony’s last two fingers to Britain.
Apart from anything else, the Olympics had had its day by around the 1980s — 30 years ago. Everyone had jumped highest, furthest, backwards, blindfolded, jumped while doing cartwheels, done pointless exercises on those gym horse thingies … to the point where they had to bring in sychronised swimming as an olympic event. That was the signal that the competition had reached the max and was over.
The only reason it exists now is as a vehicle for free first class airline tickets, ground trasnsportation and first class hotels, plus bungs from cities, for the Olymics committee.
Peter from Maidstone 7th, – 19:36
“I think that they are all objectionable”
I don’t disagree with any of the points you make, Peter, but given this rich English language of ours, I would chose something stronger, ‘horrific’ perhaps.
I always understood that the “Red List’ contained the most toxic and persistent chemicals that be should be avoided at all costs, striking me that the Met had, at last, made a sensible and wise definition.
But a quick check shows the descrption has been usurped by Greenpeace to identify those species most at risk.
Which proves, once again, that the Met can’t get anything right.
telemachus, disgusting disciple of Stalin, confirms both my proposition and his own intolerance, bigotry and red-fascism:-
“As the non thinking disciples digest and trumpet the alternative Queen’s speech we begin to get the apologist soundbites
‘There is a growing trend to make the right of centre politically incorrect’
This is of course because they are politically incorrect.”
There was of course nothing apologist about my comment.
“A schoolgirl has become one of the youngest councillors in the country after winning a seat on Plymouth City Council. Kate Taylor, who was standing for Labour, won her Devonport seat with a majority of 839 as her party won control of the council last night from the Conservatives. The 18-year-old, who is an A-level student at Notre Dame RC School in Plymouth, took to Twitter to speak of her delight at winning her council seat. “It’s been an exhausting campaign but it was all so worth it. Real work starts here – and I can’t wait,” she wrote.”
Had to be Labour. She’ll be able to bring 18 years of left-wing indoctrination to the party but how much wisdom or experience? Britain really is bonkers.
It was a dead-cert Labour ward. But only a 27% turnout. Same sort of results in 2011 for a different Labour candidate.
I never saw any of the candidates in my ward. I’m not sure how exhausting it must have been for her since she could hardly lose. I think it shows how little respect the parties have for the electorate. There is no choice. We vote for whoever they say, or we refuse to vote, and our refusal is ignored.
It will be said that this girl (she is not even a woman), won 52% of the vote, a landslide endorsement, but in fact she only has the support of 14% of the electorate.
Here in Ireland we’re waiting for the opportunity of pinning the tail on a now galloping donkey in the 31 May Stability Pact Referendum. No plans to postpone it, but rather desultory ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ campaign posters are appearing on lampposts like posters for a Whitney Houston concert. Bonkers.
I have it on good authority that the word whitewash is to be renamed palewash, Black clothing will be relabelled Dark and gollies will be banned from sale.
It will soon be against the law not to bow ones head when passing black or asian britons.
strapworld
May 8th, 2012 –
Good morning, strapworld,
Golliwogs have been against the law some time! Now, I am getting dressed to go out.I need a lot more make-up as I got mugged and am quite jet and blue.
I am really sorry to hear that Anne. What happened?
Strapworld – I understand there’s even a move to rename non-brewed condiment on the grounds people have taken to shouting the last two syllables out loud in the chip shops – vin/nig/ger.
Of course, truffles will no longer be colour-specific, latest EU rules redefining them as malodorous fungi. Black Pudding has been more accurately defined as Scab Sausage whilst Monty Python is being re-written to remove all references of Mrs Niggerblaster exploding, on the grounds Muslims are offended to be stereotyped in that manner (ie whilst they have a tendency to explode, very few of them are actually that dark of complexion)
Meanwhile, Blackburn Rovers latest owners, an Indian family, are applying for the name to be changed due to its KKK connotations. Of course, that famous regiment, the Black ‘n Tans is to strengthened on the grounds of its positive multi-racial overtones, the feelings of the Irish counting for nought.
Clear Memories, there was/is no famous regiment called the Black and Tans. It was a collective nickname for the ex-soldiers seconded to the Royal Irish Constabulary during the Irish War for Independence and who wore a mixture of dark green RIC and khaki Army uniforms. Sometimes called “Auxiliaries”, although more properly those were the unemployed ex-Army officers who formed the Auxiliary Division of the RIC. And notorious rather than famous.
Nicholas
Indeed, one of my local pubs was burnt out by the Black and Tans – probably because the local RIC barracks was next door and they preferred not to commute to their places of mayhem. The pub was, however, rebuilt and now caters to oblivion-drinking, rather surly East Europeans.
Peter from Maidstone
May 8th, 2012 – 09:56
Dear Peter, thanks for your kind concern, but I can assure you I was only employing poetic licence and was not mugged or even insulted. Just my dark humour !! 🙂
Anne. You are quite right, Marie Antoinette did say brioch. The law in Paris at that time said that if the bakers ran out of bread then they had to sell the more expensive brioche at the bread price, all the poor woman did was to ask if the law was being obeyed. Very glad to hear that you were not actually mugged, take care of yourself.
And time surely to be rid of that foul weighcist term ‘Britons’, on the grounds that it is likely to offend more and more of us.
Nominations for alternatives please! Britgrammes perhaps or milliibrits?
News reports advise that Al-Qaeda’s infamous underwear bombers are on the march again. Unfortunately details are sparse and we do not know if they comprise the infamous Boxer, Y front or Brief brigades. And we wait further information on whether they are black, tan or a Border Agent beguilingly Ann Summers midnight red, in order to evade detection.
Time surely, for the followers of the religion of peace to be encouraged to revert to traditional methods of transport; the sandal, the camel and the dhow, or simply travel only on PIA .
plot proof of ‘perverse’ lengths they will go to
Al-Qaeda’s plot to blow up a US-bound plane with an underwear bomb is proof of the “perverse and terrible” lengths they are willing to go,
Stephen Mayberry, it was I, not AWK, who correctly quoted Marie-Antoinette as having said, “Let them eat brioches!” I also spelled brioches correctly.
Noah 14:12 … RE the bombs in their scanties jihadis, they are giving new meaning to “flying by the seat of your pants”. If it fails the first time and you become the butt of international humourists, DO IT AGAIN! Keep ’em laughing!
I read that they have redesigned the bomb. This time it’s going to really, really work and everyone is going to be really, really sorry about all those jokes they made about the bomb-in-y-fronts for allah. This bomb is going to be invisible to the naked eye. Good of them to alert us.
Verity
Bomb detection is going to require much more of a fundamental, hands-on approach in future.
Perhaps Brian Paddick can be persuaded to bring his special experience to bear grapple with this testeng new responsibility within the UK BA?
Austin Barry
“..one of my local pubs was burnt out by the Black and Tans..”
Reminds me of the remark common when I was younger:
“The Germans, they bombed our chippie tha’ knows’t”.
Soon to be replaced I suppose, with
“The Jihadis, they bombed our Marks and Spencers Lingerie Department…”
Noa … Ha ha ha ha ha! The next pantie jihadi is going to give a new depth of meaning to “dying intestate”. And back to the trying on scanties and asking the shop assistant, “Does my bomb look big in this?”
I have just had an outstanding thought that I offer to the airline industry – free, although a few comped seats would not go amiss – … I’m not much on airline desig, but there must be a sceptic tank under te cabin floor somewhere. How about situating it directly underneath the lavatory then, if the crew alerted the captain that a muzzie had been locked in the loo for however many minutes, he could simply press a switch, the floor would open up and the aspirant jihadi would not only be in deep shit … but deep kafir shit! Could give the passengers some light relief during those endless long hauls.
Tee Hee Verity!
Having eared a living in aircraft manufacture and export I’ve always had high regard for Messrs Martin-Bakers excellent ejecting seats myself. Seating the faithful in these and ensuring their operation is controlled and activated by fellow non RofP passengers would ensure that the merest hint of an indelicate rasp results in a speedy if premature evacuation.
Or perhaps one of the sashaying stewards could just offer an option of “blue ice, Sir?” with their drink…
Stephen Maybery
Hi Stephen,
It was Verity who corrected me and not vice versa. Thanks for your kind wishes and may be dark clouds roll away and the sun shine!
Another inhibitor for jihadis aloft could be a sign on the lav door reading, in English and Paki, WARNING: Closed circuit TV camera in effect. May be monitored by female or male flight attendants.
Warming, so to speak, to my theme … while the plane is gaining altitude and the flight’s settling in, they could fill in the time before they come round with the trollies with a five minute video, from their closed circuit cameras, of “Funniest Airline Lavatory Incidents”.
I feel sorry for the poor muslim villager who went for a vasectomy.
Anna…visit Llangollen you can buy them quite openly.
strapworld: Don’t understand your message, 16:31. Was it for me?
Good to see strapworld commenting here. His pungent comments at the Spectator site are appreciated.
About a week ago there was some sneering from residents here when I suggested that more of them might like to adopt “avatars”. I see strapworld uses one and it occurred to me that the avatar perhaps offers a measure of assurance that trolls cannot so easily steal the identity of commentators who use one. The Spectator Coffee House does not recognize them, and this may be largely why trolls there have been able to post using the names of regular commentators here. This cuts both ways because it is possible for us there to counterfeit posts from the Spectator’s trolls, or to put up for him and using his name comments that a person has posted here in frustration at not having them accepted on a Spectator blog.
Yes I would recommend that people add an avatar if they wish. It adds some colour and makes identification of favourite posters easy.
Good stuff by John R. Bolton, formerly and all too briefly U.S. ambassador to the United Nations,on the larger implications of the Chen Guangcheng affair at http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/may/7/dangerous-fallout-from-chinas-chen-affair/
It is curious that those who are exercised at clitorodectomies performed on daughters at the behest of parents in our scandalously over-sized muslim population can connect with the political issues involved, but take little interest in Mr. Chen’s case where his concern with the specific issue of forced sterilisation and abortion in China throws light on the nature of the communist regime by the reaction which it provokes. It is understandable that it is felt that China is a far off country of which we know little, while the threat to the stability and culture of our own land is more nearly and urgently affected by the recent years of mass immigration manufactured by our political class. All the same, we are expected on a blog like this to have larger sympathies and imagination which are not prevented by geographical distance from recognizing that England is only an island geographically.
Peter from Maidstone
…or indeed of least favourite posters….
Lol! Yes, that is another use.
Ok, I’ll take the hint. I don’t think I can manage an avatar so this will be my last post here. Since Frank is no longer around parting will not be such sweet sorrow.
I did make a comment about Bo Xilai at the Speccie to the effect that whilst he was a keen promoter of Maoism and imposed it on the people he had power over, he wears (wore?) Saville Row suits and sent his son to Harrow and Oxford. Hmm.
In my more pessimistic moments I think that weird mix of authoritarian socialism and exploitative capitalism in China (of which I do have first hand experience) will become the new norm for governments. Cameron and crew certainly seem ready to embrace the velvet-gloved authoritarian stance despite their promises, all dressed up of course as “public protection” for our own good. Fabulously wealthy champagne socialists who will ooze hypocrisy as they preach and nanny us, in cahoots with the worst kind of corporate oppression and health-nazi lobbying, all managed by databases that both keep us under surveillance and make life one long succession of hoop jumping and wage slavery. East Germany will eventually seem crude and easy going by comparison, but of course our expectations will be managed by over-promoting the indoctrinated, doctrinaire young and laying yet more complex political correctness over us in order to criminalise yet more people. It’s ironic that in a society that is now promoting homosexual marriage as the norm, state driven conformity is becoming ever more narrow. It really sucks.
So, Chaps and Chapesses. It’s been fun. But this dinosaur’s asteroid has finally blotted out the sun.
Goodbye-ee, goodbye-ee,
Wipe the tear, baby dear, from your eye-ee,
Tho’ it’s hard to part I know,
I’ll be tickled to death to go.
Don’t cry-ee, dont sigh-ee,
there’s a silver lining in the sky-ee,
Bonsoir, old thing, cheer-i-o, chin, chin,
Nah-poo, toodle-oo, Goodbye-ee.

Malfleur (or Peter). How to you add/insert an avatar?
Whilst we had dinner this evening, as is our habit; we listened to the televised BBC News at 6pm coming from the adjacent room. This allows for conversation but also lets us pause to listen if any particular piece is of interest.
Tonight we both were so shocked by what we heard that we left the table so that we could both watch and listen, the newsreader (she who hosts the Antique Road Show) had just announced that nine men had today been found guilty of the abuse of young girls some as young as thirteen.
These men all Asian were either taxi drivers or else Indian Restaurant/Takeaway workers (this is a very common misnomer as 99.9% of these restaurants are Pakistani or Bangladeshi) in other words Muslims.
What followed was an interview with one of the abused girls who said that she was forced to have sex four and five times a day and this went on day after day.
We also heard the Keith Vaz MP the Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee was saying that these nine so called Asians were not guilty of any racist crime.
And another BBC female jobsworth was adamant that if all cases of sexually grooming of young girls was annualised then it would show that a very large proportion (I think she said 85%) was committed by white men.
What caused us to leave the table was that the newsreader played down the crime by stating that nine men had been found guilty of abusing young girls, surely what they did was ‘Rape’ these children were ravished, their minds and body’s violated by evil nasty followers of Islam.
It is high time that the BBC reported the true facts not some politically correct mumbo jumbo version, it is also high time that these animals together with their entire families are returned whence they came.
The days of this destructive, malign, maliicous, vicious, treacherous organisation are numbered. The world is awash with news sources today. It’s primary purpose – reporting the news – has long since been overtaken by other, more market oriented organisations who want to serve the customer, not some toxic marxists One Worlders.
The ridiculous licence fee … (why not have to have a licence to own a hair dryer or a washing machine … or a computer ?) … should be banished without notice and the BBC’s premises sold or dynamited. (I know which I prefer …. )
This is probably the most dangerous organisation in Britain, and you are paying for your own destruction.
Anna, Yes. Gollies are on open sale…There is no ban.
David Ossitt
“It is high time that the BBC reported the true facts not some politically correct mumbo jumbo version, it is also high time that these animals together with their entire families are returned whence they came”.
Agreed. Whast you are describing is an ingrained ‘institutional racism’ that should be, as Nicholas has previously and cogently called for, the subject of a Royal Commission.
I agree, David Ossitt, the coverage on the BBC was and is quite disgraceful. Cannot upset the asians, it might cause riots. This is the second case involving a ring of Asian men raping young under aged white girls.
Of course Vaz would say that. It IS a race crime. They do not rape their own as that would cause ‘honour’ crimes and their girls are not let out are they?
But this is another indication how the non indigenous of this country are in charge.
Oh David O, after your attempt to correct my English how can I resist reminding you of the plural form of body…?
Bye bye.
And to all other contributors is it not time to resurrect the term Saracen to describe followers of Islam? To me that better captures the aggressive, destructive and outright warlike nature of them and their belief system.
Tomorrow is Europe Day, and this is Europe Week – two EU ‘festivals’ that don’t seem to have gripped the public’s imagination here in Blighty.
To remedy this, maybe we should display some flags to show our feelings about the EU.
You can find some designs at the link below – as well as some celebrating the Olympics.
I can safely say they don’t have the approval of either the EU or the Olympics.
http://www.onetwo.dsl.pipex.com/LadyEuro
And whilst we are ranting about the BBC I want to say that as a fully paid up member of the Misogynists Club, I seek the immediate abolition of the foul, gender discriminating Womens Hour with its presiding witch, two ton Murray. Catering to an audience of self obsessed, self satisfied hags it fails to recognise the changed demographics of a society in which unemployed men are now as likely to be found at home as the little woman.
So, on the basis of the BBC’s own equality agenda this noxious programme of daily self regard should be scrapped immediately: to be replaced by programming directed towards male and indeed more general interests: diy, the making of beer and wine, Pakistani gang child molestation, balancing budgets, the benefits of a robust justice system utilising hard labour and flogging …
Frank Sutton – 20:14pm
Thanks for that! An extremely suitable subject for a good rant on Mans Hour!
The case of the filthy Pakistani men abusing, raping and passing around young English girls is disgraceful. The disgrace lies not in the Pakistanis, who only acted as the primitive wogs which they are. My opinion of muslims is well-known, but in this case I do not blame them. The entire guilt for the suffering of these children lies with the British police, the women who gave them birth, and a society which allows these subhumans to dwell in our midst, receiving our protection whilst they violate our young.
The police knew for a long time what was going on, but believing ‘race relations’ would be disturbed and the girls not believed, they refused to act. Even now, one of the men can not be named. Is he a council official or a policeman? Demonstrations outside the court have caused the police to protect the Pakistanis and brought forth denials that this is a racially motivated crime. The girls’ mothers are mostly unmarried and immoral drunkards or junkies, they either left their daughters to wander the streets alone, or dumped them into ‘care’. The social services care homes are not fit to care for a stray dog. Breeding grounds for future prostitutes and junkies they perpetuate the neglect of vulnerable children.
Finally, British society which allows the lowest scum to move into our towns and cities, and even pays them benefits, is at fault. Afraid to make waves, they shut their eyes to what is happening. This government is no better than the last, slavery is taking place, the enslavement of non-muslims by the barbarians in our midst, but nothing is done to stop it. Where are the human rights of these girls?. Why isn’t Amnesty International involved? If it was muslims being forced against their will into prostitution can you imagine the ouctry? I would love to see all these disgusting men castrated publically and then thrown out, together with their families from this once decent land.
The BBC and C4 are in full damage limitation mode tonight after the conviction of those 8 Pakistani muslims and a.n. other from the Afghan cesspit for underage grooming and rape in Rochdale. They are, of course, ably assisted by the police and Keith (yes!) Vaz as we are battered by statements that race or religion has absolutely nothing to do with the issue and that it’s a coincidence that all their victims are white.
C4 sought to ‘investigate’ whether Pakistani muslims are overly represented amongst paedophile grooming gangs and, lo and behold, the statistics were ‘inconclusive’ And why was that? Because in the majority of cases ethnicity was NOT recorded. C4 were silent on why that might be despite people like Anne Cryer (exMP) raising this possibility many years ago. One would think the authorities would have taken the opportunity to find this out.
Perhaps they already knew.
C4 interviewed a senior officer of Derbyshire police who claimed with a straight face that the police were not afraid to investigate claims of Pakistani/muslim grooming but that it ‘may require negotiation’ with ‘community leaders’.
The only dissenting voice allowed on C4 was a representative from the Ramadhan Foundation who contradicted the entire united white establishment front by claiming that the matter WAS race based and that these Pakistani males deliberately targeted girls outside their own society. In all this Islam’s position on females and female infidels was not mentioned as a possible source of extremist attitudes. The whole business apparently emerges in a vacuum .
I also caught the issue on Radio 5 Live where they had the same Ramadhan chap and a female representative of our governing nomenklatura (surname Pearce?). The presenter Peter Allen echoed the Beeb and police’s line that this was not a race issue. Wonderfully the Ramadhan rep ‘absolutely refuted’ this position and said that there was an attitude problem with the Pakistani male community. Allen was reduced to correcting a minor point and he proceeded to give the PC female uninterrupted time to pay out her ‘move along here – nothing to see mantra’ . A reporter on the ground in Rochdale also stuck to the party line while her vox-pops contradicted the bromides she and Greater Manchester police were pumping out.
To complete the set, the ridiculous ‘Diane Abbot in a suit’, Keith Vaz is saying that race is not an issue because ‘ “It’s totally wrong to say that it is, because you open up a Pandora’s box as far as race relations is concerned “ and “and I don’t think that’s necessarily what we want.”. Case closed then Keith eh?
Oh, and another thing. On Yahoo’s list of top ten ‘trending’ issues the case doesn’t appear at all. They would have us believe stuff like Nick Barmby’s sacking at Hull tops the charts.
I think public castration would have a salutory effect stronger than any other punishment. And the choice is theirs. If you don’t want to be castrated in the public square, with endless TV replays for the entertainment of the masses, do not touch a Caucasian child.
After they have served a prison sentence for grievous bodily harm, having first had their bits chopped off on national TV, they should be shipped to Paki Land en masse in aeroplanes that are not equipped with seats. This can be followed by reptatriation (even if they were born in Britain) of all Paki males under 50. Actually, it would be a good idea to just go ahead and deport the women, who are equally tainted, as well. All Pakis under 50 … OUT. And get rid of thoe working in the NHS. They haven’t earned a place in our precious land, for whom our heroes died and for whom tens of millions suffered excruciating hardship in two World Wars.
Pakis have proved themselves unable to adapt to civilisation.
What hint Nicholas? I am not sure why you would want to leave again? I can’t see anything in the thread that could be considered an obvious cause?
P from M — I am equally puzzled.
Vaz has form for covering up racist sex crimes.
The Guardian last year said..
Straw said there was a “specific problem” in some areas of the country where Pakistani men “target vulnerable young white girls”.
His comments were criticised by Keith Vaz, chairman of the Commons home affairs select committee, who said it was wrong to “stereotype a whole community”.
Vaz and those like him don’t ever seem to have a problem stereotyping white British people or members of the EDL, or UKIP voters.
Why was a sleazy partisan primitive like Vaz, aka Vat of Ghee, elevated to a select committee? When did this piece of moral flotsam qualify for anything?
Also Keith Vat of Ghee is a very busy oily little stereotyper, as pointed out by P from M above. I am sure we could all write an accurate script of what he would say in an interview about the EDL or UKIP.
After these lumps of scum have served their sentences, I suggest that we not involve our time and institutions in trying to deport them, given that their “human rights” will trump all the damage done to these girls. I suggest a string of mysterious disappearances would see justice done and be less trouble all round.
One of the ‘men’ found guilty of grooming and raping English girls cannot be named. I earlier thought that perhaps he is a council member or a senior policeman. There could be another reason – he is an asylum seeker and his identity must be hidden to protect his ‘human’ rights.

“This is the second case involving a ring of Asian men raping young under aged white girls.”
I wish it were; it is not even the third or fourth, if you Google the subject you will find that there have been at least a dozen similar cases over the past eight years or so.
Mainly in the north but some in the midlands.
AWK@ 22.48.
It’s more likely his anonymity is being temporarily maintained as he might be due to appear in yet another case of this sort. I’d put money on it.
BTW, there is a smaller case going on in Carlisle at the moment. Would you believe it? another bloke – Azad Miah, another takeaway boss – accused of multiple rapes and procuring for his mates. Same type of victims, drink and drugs. Same line of defence…..
But lets not stereotype. Race, religion, culture ain’t an issue see?
On BBC Radio 4 news at ten, they interviewed a Muslim who reckoned the paedophile ring thing was very much a Muslim issue.

You may be right. Apart from rage, I feel such a sadness for those young girls. Never much of a childhood and then straight into such a vile lifestyle. This is such a world of beautiful possibilities, yet they are only ever seeing the miseries.
Nicholas @ 19.18 – re your Nixon moment
Actually, it wasn’t a hint to you, since I don’t think you took a position on the clitoris. And if you were referring to my short post following at 18.40, it’s not very English to say so, but I was intending that to be self-deprecatory.
So please don’t go! Your posts are far too interesting.
Or at least promise to come back when Frank P comes back – which I hope will not be longer delayed.

Pakistani muslim sex gangs are rife in the North West. As is the silence and lack of will in our institutions to deal with them
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8433887/60-girls-groomed-for-sex-at-takeaway-shops-in-Blackpool.html
And let us remember that the appalling murders of Charlene Downs and Paige Chivers in Blackpool have never been satisfactorily resolved due to the systemic bungling and more, of Lancashire Constabulary; though her suspected murderers received £500,000 each in compensation due to the incompetence of the evidence presented. Attempts continue to press Lancashire constabulary to re-open the evidence and prosecute.
Perhaps today’s verdicts will embolden the Fainthearts in blue serge…

“Saracens”. This is a good idea, except that it will be necessary to educate 95% of the people as to what a Saracen was, largely absent of a knowledge of history as they are. I would guess that most who recognise the word would think it refers to a tank. Your comment reminded me of a village or small town in the Var where I stayed many years ago called Seillans. I learned at the time that the name comes from the vast cauldrons which were filled with boiling oil, extra-virgin presumably, which was poured on the heads of invading islamicists as they attempted the town walls. This is a politically incorrect concept which does not appear in the tourist information online as far as i can see, but which is perhaps ripe for revival and adaptation to modern requirements.
Yet again a segment of the vile swarm of wogs that are polluting the UK have been found out for following their prophet and fiddling with little girls.
Adherents of this disgusting and dangerous cult have no place in the civilised world and should be removed forthwith – I’m sure the Wahabis would be delighted to settle them somewhere in the lost quarter.
On the Saracen gang, has any work been done on determining on what basis Abdul Qayyum, Mohammed Amin, Abdul Aziz, Mohammed Sajid, Hamid Safi, Adil Khan,Kabeer Hassan, and Abdul Raul entered the country or their legal status here?
What particular merit did these gentlemen have which recommended them as offering a useful contribution to the culture and economy of the United Kingdom? I assume in saying that that they were not born British. Which partiuclar, name names please, officials were instrumental in their being allowed to enter and stay in the country. If they entered as professional criminals, who in government is doing what to stop a recurrence? Etc., etc., ad nauseam.
I think we need to encourage the development of the Saracen take away business. A lot of Englishmen will pay good money to have Saracens taken away.
Clear Memories — This is what is covered up … why, tbough, who knows? – in the tiptoe through islamic paedopilia, theft of childhood and perversity: Their prophet mohammad was a major paedopile.
To repeat, for those who haven’t read the account before, Aisha (who came to be his favourite wife out of a slew of wives and “servant girls”) was six years of age when Mo, who had a sharp eye for pretty little girls, spotted her on a swing being pushed by her mother.
He was apparently a man of some consequence in his village, because the mother dragged the child off the swing and hurried her to Mo’s pad and the little girl arrived, it is noted in the sura, “out of breath”. Mo was smitten! He had discussions with is friends as to whether it would be OK to go aead and rape her immediately, although the more conservative expressed concern that she was “too small”.
Mo, ever the gent, held off until she was nine.
There were other little girls in the household. Mo liked little girls. It cannot be said often enough. He was a paedopile, which is why muslim “men” today believe that raping children is part of the nature order of life. This point is very important. They believe, and it says in all their prayers, that allah is god “and mohammad is his prophet”. So who are these cretins going to believe? British law or mohammad?
He was also an epileptic in the days before this was recognised as a physical disorder which, thankfully, Western science has essentially cured. But turning icy cold on a hot day (is there any other kind in the desert?) and having sweat running down him while shivering with cold, and apparently conversing, in a muttering tone, with a diety, did give him a certain show biz aura in the village. He didn’t mumble clearly, so whoever was taking notes wrote what he thought he might have heard.
And mohammad had money. So with his money and other unusual qualities, he was set for stardom. I think Michael Flatley should choreograph his life and call it “Dune Dance”.
Mafleur 1:13. Brill! Applause!
Wow! Damiam Thompson over at The Telegrap, wrote an accurate, though very toned-down and mild (and very short) piece about muslims raping little white girls and there was a note at the bottom of the piece reading “Comments are closed”.
Well, no one ever accused The Telegraph of bravery, but such blatant cowardice is unusual, even today. They didn’t even run 30 or half a dozen comments and then close them. Absolutely no comments allowed on this article.
Interesting how institutionalised religious and social cowardice has become in Britain – a country that formerly took breezy straight speaking for granted.
Read this, and cry:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/defence/9252409/Who-dares-put-our-regiments-to-the-sword.html
Malfleur, sadly this started some years ago. The Devon and Dorsets with their glorious history all forgotten when they were amalgamated, alongwith The Light Brigade and other famous regiments, into The Rifles.1.2.3.and 4.
Why is this happening? Getting us ready for the EUSSR. History has to be rejected!
But that a Tory ‘led’ government is instrumental in the ending of these regiments, the cutting of our armed services and the savage cuts to them is quite unbelievable.
Yet more evidence that Cameron is acting to a secret plan given to him by the EU.
strapworld
I am afraid you are correct. Let’s kick against these pricks.
I notice that Keith Vaz is saying…
“I think we do need to look into this but I think it is quite wrong to stigmatise a whole community. This is where it all ends up. It is already extending from ‘Pakistani men’ to ‘Asian men’.”
But as far as I can see this is just an outright lie. We know that it is Pakistani Muslim men. It is not ‘Asians’.
So what is the downside for the imprisoned Islamic paedophiles?
A few years in an agreeable English prison eating taxpayer-funded halah meals and watching ‘Waziristan’s Got Talent’ on satellite television?
What’s not to like? Insha’Allah!
Whilst I have no time for the socialist mob that is the BNP, nevertheless, they are being arrested outside the Liverpool court for seeking to leaflet the truth about the Muslim scum that follow the desert pervert in their ways.
Let us not forget either that the Police and the BBC conspired TWICE in attempting to imprison Nick Griffin for telling the truth about these ‘Asians’. So, as far as we are able, let us seek to spread the word far and wide:-
Islam is based upon the rantings of a paedophile who sanctioned the rape of little girls; who decrees women have only half the mental capacity of men; that slavery is permitted; that Muslim men have the right to rape those they control with their right hand; that all non-believers may be killed.
This is not a religion, this is a cult of madmen and I believe it is perfectly in order for all westerners to slaughter these pieces of shit wherever they find them in order to protect their wives and daughters and the civilisation that we have evolved.
Bit steep? It is no more than they claim as their right.
Strapworld, first off I must say that I like your photo, I have always believed that dogs have more sense than people, woof! As for Romulus Augustalus (Cameron) that egregious little shit should be strung up from the nearest lampost for what he has done to the armed services of this country, and anyone who thinks he would defend the Falklands is living in a fools paradise, he will sell them down the river just as soon as he can and then head off to Wasshington for a pat on the pate from that British hating son of a bitch Obama.
Clear Memories has just posted, giving a concise and fair observation of life today in Britain.
Clear Memories writes, “This is not a religion, this is a cult of madmen and I believe it is perfectly in order for all westerners to slaughter these pieces of shit wherever they find them in order to protect their wives and daughters and the civilisation that we have evolved.” Easy to write, but would anybody do anything? The poster left these ‘hallal shores’ to seek sanctuary in Australia, and I wish her well. Imagine if the Queen’s Speech was a cry to arms, a Queen Elizabeth 1 call for the integrity and essence of Britain to remain Western, Christian and free of the barbarians? Would any of the citizens crushed by years of political correctness and socialism arise? I give a resounding NO! Outrage for a few days, and then the problems of the price of petrol, the poor state of theoir bank accounts, the cost of beer will all take over. In the meantime, a fresh swarm of Pakistanis will be grooming British girls.
Thanks for your excellent post, Strapworld. One nit-pick: You refer to a “Tory-led government”, and as we know Cameron is an opportunistic commie rat-faced, not terribly bright, little One Worlder opportunist.
He needs to be ejected, with vigour, from No 10 with vigour. I am sure there are plenty of people working on it. Let’s hope they are successful in prying is febrile, greedy fingers off the door knob. He is as dangerous as Heath, and equally repulsive. Actually, moreso. Heath had a few intermittent moments of charm whereas Way-Over-Ambitious-for-His-Abilities Dave is a flatliner in the charm department.
P from M … The “Asian” meme, which I have kicked against constantly, is a mixture of cowardice (partly fear of British politicians and the word “racism” … although neither “Pakistani” nor “Asian” is a race, and partly fright in the ignorant press).
These crimes against children were committed by the followers of the paedophile mohammad – not Chinese, Burmese, Thai, Vietnamese, Sri Lankans, Indians, Mongol, Singaporeans, Filipinos, Malaysia or any other of the 3bn or so Asians with whom we share our world. Also, not by anyone from Indonesia – with the highest muslim population in the world, but an iron-clad secular constitituion and legal system.
This is pakis. Paki perverts following their pervy paedophile leader.
AWK 12:53 … grim but true.
Clear Memories … “Whilst I have no time for the socialist mob that is the BNP …”.
My enemy’s enemy is my friend. I will defend the BNP.
BTW, although Indonesia is the largest muslim country in the world (around 200m population) if you so much as lay a finger on an orang utan … as in try to keep one as a pet or keep one in a performing show, the police are round and you are told when your trial will be. (And the orang utan is taken to a rescue centre where trained people help it to acclimatise to being free.)
I honestly cannot imagine what they would do to these paki dog turds.

“Golliwogs have been against the law some time!”
Hello Anne I am not so sure about that, undoubtedly there are many who would be pleased if they were (against the law) but if you care to Google ‘Golliwogs for sale’ I am sure that you will be delighted to find that there are an abundance for sale.
Verity:
“My enemy’s enemy is my friend”.
A wise motto
David Ossitt:
David, I think Gollys are sweet, and had a lovely one as a little girls. Why they are considered rascist I cannot imagine. Cabbage Dolls are so ugly, yet nobody accuses the manufacturers of maligning white children. PC is a cottage idustry which has grown into a full-blown inquisition.
I think your first noun (cottage industry) was correct. The inquisition is the servant of the industry.
Re golliwogs, children have loved their golliwogs for generations. They’ve never stopped selling. I wonder how well a pakiwog would sell? You could buy one to scare te children to bits if they didn’t behave.
If the grooming had been carried out by an exclusively white group against girls of any other ethnic grouping the screams of ‘racist paedophiles’ would have been heard on Mars by now.
Do you realise that this government allowed the EU flag to be flown in Whitehall for the State Opening of Parliament. Now that is what I call treachery.
While the Beeb’s apparatchiks like Nicky Campbell accept without question Anne Cryer’s (and others) assertion that 90% of online grooming is done by white males, he will not accept that the bulk of street grooming is carried out by muslim, mainly Pakistani men. He made the ludicrous assertion that there could be an equal number of white gangs on the streets of Inverness and Cornwall.
And, of course, no evidence required at all for this.
Odious little weasel.
“…the only way [governments] can actually fix things is by doing exactly the opposite of what people have come to expect from their governments, which is always to do more. Put simply, the only hope now is that these governments begin to reduce their roles in their respective economies, and dramatically so. Concurrently, they have to encourage people in their aspirations to greater wealth, by lowering their taxes and unwinding the tangle of regulations they have created over the last half-century.
But if the governments actually tried to take these actions, the brainwashed masses would be positively befuddled then outraged, as it goes against everything they have been taught…the mob has started to gather, their dark mutterings heard by the politicos who quickly don the red caps themselves, the better to be viewed as one with the people and join in expressing outrage against the capitalists who have been selected as fall guys in this unfolding drama…”.

Musta missed those.
The far left president of France, F. Hollande, is quoted today as saying that ‘Europe is not a cash till and less still a self-service restaurant.’ (DM)

Running scared of slimy Pakistani/islamic scum. Unbelievable. The Telegraph frightened of islamic rubbish morons. If the Pakis and people who occupied that land for centuries weren’t morons, they would have invented somethig … anything … by now. I wonder if they’d invented the ball, to play games with … or … given the sheer stupiditiy of the faces … testamet to tens of thousands of years of never having had an idea that worked … maybe not.
Rape of a child should carry the mandatory death penalty.
Verity and Strapworld: Douglas Carswell commented on the EU flag: http://www.talkcarswell.com/disqus.aspx?id=2356#disqus_thread
I posted a link to some alternative EU flags yesterday, if anyone’s interested.
Verity, re Brendan O’Neil and comments on Telegraph “Paedo” blogs (including also Ed West).
The likely reason why comments are closed is a forthcoming trial of one of the convicted men (presumably the one un-named yesterday). The blogs steer clear of sub-judice issues, but unmoderated comments certainly wouldn’t.
Frank Sutton — didn’t realise there was anything sub judice discussed.
Verity: Not what was discussed in the blogs – what posters might put in comments.
Frank Sutton, if the case was over and the judgement was made and announced publically, how could anything about it be sub judice?
Verity, the case is clearly not over, and will be announced in due course. It is not sub-judice in respect of this case, but in respect of some other case we do not yet know about.

A genuine pang of tremendous sorrow. He was a lovely, lovely man. RIP.
With the nasty Muslim perverts now locked away in one of Her Majesty’s Holiday Camps, perhaps Leveson might actually do something useful, stop bothering with the phone hacking (which only conerns the political ‘elite’ for their own devious ends) and have a good look at the tissue of lies, distortions and omissions that have emanated from the MSM and the DTP.
Not one of our august national organs has had the guts to tell the truth. Not one has had the balls to reveal that all the offenders in this (and all the other similar trials) are Muslims. Not one has had the intellectual stamina to look into the reasons why these vile offences are so prevalent amongst the followers of Mohammed (Piss Be Upon Him).
And why should that be? Not because they are afraid of the cult itself. No, its because they know they are part of the problem. They have remained silent whilst this tide of mentally-servile filth has washed across the continent of Europe. To serve their political masters, they have failed to report the root beliefs of these objectionable aliens. How can the likes of Harmen, Abbott and Greer remain silent about their treatment of women? Why are the serried ranks of shirt-lifters so coy about the basic belief of the camel-jockeys with regard to their particular deviancy? Why is Gary Glitter pilloried at every turn whilst the walking turds that bow to Mecca are left to continue their sordid little kiddie-fiddling lifestyles in peace? Why are all the men-in-dresses from Lambeth Palace and Rome so silent?
And answer came there none.
Clear Memories – Superb! Applause!
The media are partners in this deceit which would have shocked people to the core just 20 years ago. As you say, Gary Glitter was chased from pillar to post and, essentially, exiled even after he had served his sentence, while these ambulatory dog turds (apologies to dogs) get a derisory few years for far more organised, persistent and horrific abuse and the media don’t say diddly. They close their correspondence columns to comment.
Nothing is ever mentioned about the tens of thousands of clitoridectomies that are performed on little muslim girls held down on kitchen tables, snipping off their organ of pleasure so they will never be tempted to stray.
The Religion of Pieces rolls on in our country and througout Europe. Which traitor thought letting them into civilisation was a good idea? And did they know that the word “islam” means “submission”? Look it up. The “religion of peace” definition means that once you have universal submission, you will have peace.
And mohammad (Piss Be Upon Him) was himself an enthusiastic paedophile. (They have never managed to explain tis away because it’s in their hadiths.)
My apologies for posting the following in full, but as so often I find as I surf the web things said much better than I could or reports which have consolidated facts more efficiently than I could hope to; this is at http://www.israpundit.com/archives/45782
“As you know, the Socialist François Hollande won the presidential elections in France, last Sunday. It is a catastrophe for France.
Hollande was elected by the Muslims:
a survey (of 10,000 Muslims) shows that 93% of the Muslims voted for him.
As 2 million Muslims participated in this election, Hollande got 1,720,000 Muslim votes more than Sarkozy did: (0.93-0.07) x 2,000,000 = 1,720,000
But at the end, in the whole population, he got only 1,139,316 votes more than Sarkozy.
So, without the Muslims’ votes, Sarkozy would have been re-elected.
All the Muslim criminals feel now empowered.
Criminality is already on the rise (1,700 cars were burnt in France for the first night). Muslims are screaming anti-French and anti-Jews watchwords in our streets.
Veiled women, wearing the illegal burqa, are strolling in our streets.
And, as if this wasn’t enough, Hollande wants to give to all the foreigners the right to vote in our elections!!
France will face a very hard situation. We are heading for civil war in a few years.
That’s the last news from occupied France.”
I would also like to recommend Caroline Glick’s article on the gathering storm of Saracens in Egypt, headed as yet not for Vienna or Tours, but for their claimed new capital of a United States of Arabia – Jerusalem – note in particular at the foot of her article the video with English subtitles of the “moderate” Muslim Brotherhood candidate’s rally in Cairo:

Sorry, withdrawn; just winding you up.
It was once said in the time of the Roman Empire that all that was needed to maintain stability was to make sure that the population were supplied with bread and circuses.
I was reminded of this when I noticed an item in the current Telegraph. Here’s a condensed version of it-
“The European Court of Human Rights has rejected Abu Qatada’s appeal against deportation, but it doesn’t prevent him from suing the Britain over Mrs May’s handling of his case.
He will stay in Britain for at least another year because he still has a separate, legal challenge against being sent back to Jordan. Meantime his lawyers are trying to have him re-released on bail.”
Doesn’t this give a whole new meaning to the word ‘circuses’?

I am as baffled as you are why the British judiciary and the government have quietly abandoned our ancient rules of law. It wasn’t in any manifesto. It wasn’t voted on in Parliament. Former fighters like David Davis and John Redwood appear to be supine. Our entire, centuries-old, legal and civil system of governance appears to have been dismantled without comment.
And they flew the EI flag over parliament (not worty of a capital P) for the Queen’s speech today.
Supposed to be EU above … my keys are jamming Can’t figure it out. Apols.

“But that a Tory ‘led’ government is instrumental in the ending of these regiments, the cutting of our armed services and the savage cuts to them is quite unbelievable.

And Cameron has the bare faced cheek to tell the DM it’s the LibDems holding him back. Excuse me whilst I laugh, long and hard, at the concept of him being held back by the LibDems on -anything-. He managed to get the hashpot of a NHS reform bill through, got the tuition and welfare bills he was after. Ultimately Cameron’s never been in a stronger position than he has been, he can even afford a limited backbench rebellion and STILL hold a majority because Calamity Clegg and his army of yes men will all nod and smile like those horrid plastic dogs.
God help Cameron if the Conservatives actually started thinking with a big C once more, him and Osborne would be out on their arse so fast that they’d think they just discovered how to fly in the meantime.
The saddest part of it all is that for the UK populace, the saying really is true right now “There is no alternative” , we have three of the most useless, spineless, idiotic, opportunistic, career minded pond-scum-hybrid-human politicians ever to grace the face of the earth and right now I can’t see anyone better to replace them, at least, no one who wouldn’t get savaged by either the media or their peers.

Hello to my American friends,
As you know, the Socialist François Hollande won the presidential elections in France, last Sunday. It is a catastrophe for France.

Muslims are screaming anti-French and anti-Jewish watchwords in our streets.
Veiled women, wearing the illegal burqa, are strolling in our streets. And, as if this wasn’t enough, Hollande wants to give to all the foreigners the right to vote in our elections!!
France will face a very hard situation. We are heading for civil war in a few years.
That’s the last news from occupied France.

Wish her well .. ???? Since when did my gender become an assumption? And how do you know I am seeking sanctuary?
Dear Lady Awk, I am of the persuasion that prefers to gently chew on the lady-parts rather than clip them off; I would rather give pleasure than deny it.

I’m sorry I wrote to you incorrectly referring to you as ‘she’.
I can’t imagine why you have to mention same sex marriage. it is not relevant to my mistaking your gender. For the record, I also believe ‘same sex marriage’ is an oxymoron. No wonder Obama supports it. Anything which destroys Western civilization, family life and ethos will autpmatically gain the approval of these marxists. Marxists they are, whether they call themselves liberals, democrats, respect, socialists or any such rubbish. Once again my apologies.

Can we stop using the lefty constuct “islamophobia”.
No one has an “irrational fear” (phobia) of the desert paedophiles. The fear is entirely rational. Therefore the term “phobia” is being used as an ignorant weapon.
The question is, who is behind refusing to implement mass deportation? And what was the purpose of the mass importation of primitives who are hostile to our anciet civilisation? The destruction of our settled and orderly monocultural civiliation was planned and implemented with malice.
I think grudge-laden Jack Straw, chippy Cherie Blair and, inexplicably, Tony Blair. We don’t know what it is yet, but there is something in Tony Blair’s make up that causes him to hate Britain. I wonder what it is.
I believe the rabid efforts to get the Olympics to Britain was an act of great malice.
It is a spiritual sickness, IMHO, and it is a manifestation of hatred towards the ‘traditional’ Christian heritage which has formed so much of our English life and culture. Neither Sherie Blair nor Tony Blair are Christians in any sense I recognise. They have worked to undermine traditional Christian values and principles, and this same agenda is being furthered by Cameron.
Funny how off-centre, malign people always manage to find each other, isn’t it? Cherie – one of the first chav names in Britain, given her age – daughter of a famous TV actor, and Tony Blair, aspirant pop star (failed) and son of a successful barrister. And a pupil at Fettes, the premier public school in Scotland.
Both had privileged upbringings and both appear to have a vicseral, toxic loathing of Britain. Tony thrived on couch TV and blossomed into an Estuary accent. Cherie became a barrister and did something or other. Bot focussed on the destruction of Britain, for which they made common cause with the loatesome, creepy Jack Straw.
And before that, Edward Heath, yachtsman and mentalist, whose mother had been a ladies’ maid … and who also put personal ambition ahead of his coutry. Then, after Blair, non-yactsman, but mentalist Gordon Brown.
How has Britain had such a malign string of prime ministers? It’s bizarre. Other countries sometimess get a terrible, selffish, malign leader, but not a whole string of them in a row.
I don’t know why the n and the h keys don’t function on my keyboard. Why would that have happened?

Government chooses Harrier jump jet-type planes instead of conventional take-off version F-35

I become more and not less convinced that a polling organisation that asks the questions that other polls don’t and which analyses the data to get honest results is needed more than ever. I am starting to do some of the ground work because I think that asking the right questions is a key part of changing the way we respond to the present assaults on our society.
There is a vigorous series of exchanges going on at the Spectator blog by commentators on Douglas Murray’s piece on the Saracen pimping gang in Rochdale. “Let’s talk about this”.
telemachus’, the far leftist ally of 7th century feudal islam,is resisting criticism of the pimps so far as his meager polemical talents allow.
islam is an aggressive, paedophiliac cult which exists to convert by violence and sickening abnormality. It also preys on children … raping both girls and boys and slicing the clitorises off little girls.
What more evidence do they need that it as no place in Britain and should be outlawed.
The mosques should be shut down, preferably by bombing them during Friday prayers.
Always remember: mohammad the “prophet” (Piss Be Upon him), the ideal, from whom all eartly instruction on islam comes, was a prolific paedopile and married Aisha when she was six. Never forget this when tempted to consider islam a genuine religiion. It’s a vile desert cult which specialises in rape of little girls and the possession of multiple “wives”.

That would require a herculean effort on the part of UKIP, but considering the state of politics at present…

I listened to the View from 22 podcast available on the Spectator blog, and was encouraged that Fraser Nelson has become aware of the wide disaffection in which the EU is held in the United Kingdom, although he personally, in a minority nationally of one in four, is in favour of what he calls belonging to “the comity” of European nations. One should note that in the latter regard UKIP is not against “Europe” and that it would like to see – a European common market.
I was appalled however at the gabbled, swallowed, burbled diction of the spoken English of the participants, other than the woman.

Often a ping pong match in which no one returns the ball…
I am dismayed at Frank P’s silence and hope that it is not occasioned by ill-health.
I was also very sorry to see Nicholas flounce out, though he did the same on the Spectator Wall and everyone, except the trolls, was delighted to see him return there later. Let’s hope we will see him again here; he can always use a different name, though I suspect that we would recognize him by the excellence of his prose. Perhaps he could be offered a slot for one of his cartoons…?
Meanwhile, in the real world:
“…Special forces units of the US, France, Britain, Canada and other NATO members have gathered in Jordan alongside Saudi, Jordanian and Qatari special units for a large-scale ten-day military exercise in Jordan starting May 15. ” (Debka)
UKIP’s intent as far as I can figure is to put us in the same situation as Switzerland, which would mean we’d see Europe as a trading partner, but a partner to which we’re equal to, as opposed to a supplicant nation where our systems are open to abuse to any EU national. An EU that’s increasing fairly rapidly.
Best possible scenario that I can see is UKIP take over from the Lib Dems, Cameron is shot out of a cannon into the sun along with Osborne, and some capital C conservatives along with UKIP get us out of the EU. But that’s merely the first step to fixing the country. Labour might have left a mess, but the Conservatives right now are simply continuing the New Labour Blarite trajectory.
Realistically there needs to be some serious consideration to renatnionalising the utilities (water and electricity) as a matter of priority, along with a public admission on the part of the mainstream parties that some privatisations didn’t go as they should. Rebuild the coal industry from it’s current state of neglect, toss the green emission targets onto the bonfire, and institute a wide scale capital infrastructure investment into the power industry and infrastructure, along with transport modernisation (I’m not talking white elephants like the HS2, but actual benefits, including a third runway at heathrow).
That’s before we get into the nightmare of the tax system, the benefits system (which doesn’t pay nearly as much as it should to genuine cases and pays way more than it should to the fraudsters), and the defence sector (which thanks to the conservatives is now in a -total mess-).
It’d need a decade of -solid- economically right wing, and placing the needs of -British- citizens first, before we’d be back to the early to mid nineties position of having a healthy set of government books.

Hope Frank P is well. Apart from that, nothing to say except you seem to be playing into the hands of the trolls. Why give me the dubious honour of making the ‘low point’? I used irony when I said I was mugged. We were playing word games and I was replacing the word ‘black’ with ‘dark’ etc. Alas, you took my attempt at irony as literal.
I, too, wish Frank P well. I must say that I have been very dismayed by the level of some contributions on the wall. I have not bothered for a long time and the change I find is not good.
So I will take my leave and wish those I respect good writing and will just content myself with CH.

I am also concerned about Frank P who seems to have disappeared from the internet, rather than just from this site. Nicholas also has come and gone as he chooses and may be back later, or may not be.
I’m not sure that’s cause to close the wall. Well I know that it is not. In any case we are seeing more new posters as we go along and I have no problem reading the old ones. We are averaging over 60,000 pages viewed each month. We have over 600 visitors a day. Clearly people are enjoying it.
I will try to post some more blog posts in the absence of anyone else doing so, but the conversation here is still free and is without the harrassment of trolls.
This may not be new to Peter, but I read from Nestor’s Primary Chronicle in the account of selection of The Christian Orthodox Religion over the competing Islamic Ottoman Religion after the second Siege of Constantinople:
“We saw men worship in a temple that is called a mosque, where they sit and bow and look like men possessed; but there is no happiness among them, only sorrow and a dreadful stench”
Telling, but I must say it contrasts to my impressions gained from visiting such a Temple next to the American Ambassador’s residence, the Regents Park Central London Mosque. This seemed like a haven of tranquillity
But then it is a few years on
As a personal observation, the site seems enhanced in the absence of Nicholas who does not understand internationalists.
Where are the antipodeans?
Trapped: Getting out of the EU is just half the battle. Bear in mind that the EU doesn’t actually make our laws – it merely gives out orders and leaves to the civil services of the various countries to actually implement them.
So here in Britain we have a class of zealous mandarins and their quangocrat allies who delight in interpreting what it sees as the EU’s wishes in the most officious ways possible.
Leaving the EU won’t break them of this habit – they’ll just continue to meddle, regulate and control until they’re prised from their positions.
Trapped: You’re right about the lunacy of emissions targets – which are “legally binding”.
I am puzzled by this notion – who is legally bound by whom? Who takes whom to court? How can some pieces of legislation be more binding than any other? Is it safe to ignore laws that are not “legally binding”?
Can someone explain?

They’re as daft as fining Network Rail or the franchisees because insufficient trains are on time. You take away from them the money they need to make things better. Then they have to bum more from the government to make up for the money lost through the fine…totally pointless. Now, if the heads of each of these companies were personally financially responsible for their shortcomings they might be encouraged to take some effective action.
“Nicolas has gone, and we don’t miss the ……………….. chappie”!
Ummm well, that’s as maybe.

Noa-perhaps someone who looks at things from a different angle.

Yes indeed, but an island that still thinks it rules the world, next to a French Nation that is sure it does, next to the Germans who do.
Oh, I don’t think that it does. But its always happy to smile politely, even benignly, at the opinions and assertions of others.
I think your understanding of internationalism is also emerging through your comments about the British, French and Germans. Always nice to be reminded of one of the older aphorisms.
Cigar Chompin’ John Jefferson ‘Yessiree’ Burns XIV
You mean you want a European imput [sic] that puts quaint l’il ol’ European countries like Britain, France in Germany back in their place (yessiree)? That sort of European ‘imput’?
You think the forum could benefit from ‘someone who looks at things from a different angle’? Would this ‘angle’ by any chance be an angle tilted slightly – or even very steeply – downwards? A downward angle of supreme condescension from an Archimedean point that just happens to be located in the Land of the Free? An Archimedean point of superior wisdom from which you can school us parochial l’il ol’ ‘Brits’ in the ways of diplomacy and ‘internationalism’. That sort of ‘angle’?
You, Sir, are a cigar chompin’, brace-twangin’, ten gallon hat buffoon. Take a running jump.
I miss Frank P and am worried. Despite is humour and writing being encouragingly robust, he had not been feeling a hundred per cent for a a few months. Let us hope that he is on the mend and will be back to his punching weight soon.

John Jefferson Jones … “an island that still thinks it rules the world”???? Britain has been doing humble apologies for around 20 years now, looking around at what is running Britain – both elected and civil service – that we ever had an empire that we ran with such efficiency and effect, seems unbelievable. And that we were respected by the regions we were governing seems even more remote.
Andy Carpark 13:49 – Seconded wit vigour.
John Jefferson Jones – You refer to the French Nation. Why do you capitalise “nation”??? Are you the deeply ignorant Barak Hussein Obama filling in a few minutes while the script is being keyed into the autocue?
Considering the demise of the British Empire, and close to the 71st anniversary of the invasion of France, its perhaps worth considering the consequences of what would have happened if Britain had reached a rapprochement with Nazi Germany instead of continuing to fight on alone.
It’s entirely possible, indeed likely, that the Empire, suitably ayranised, would be in existence today. Germany, without fighting on two fronts, and with its integrated European assistance, and ample access to oil, would have comprehensively defeated Stalin’s Russia, developing atomic and nuclear capabilities in the process. The USA, reduced to global impotency, would have remained the isolated, inward looking power that it was then and is reverting to now.
The sacrifice and loss of the British Empire, freely and knowingly made by the British and English speaking peoples of that Empire, resulted in the United States becoming the superpower of the 2oth century. as well as, however imperfectly, preserving the concepts of freedom and democracy in the West.
So, when the ‘international’ view from erstwhile friends acknowledges that sacrifice, comments about the British can be considered to be made in a spirit of friendship for a shared loss and sacrifice for a greater good, rather than as arrogant nationalist triumphalism.
Can you imagine … and, of course, you cannot … a still intact Empire being run by people of the quality of Edward Heath, Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, Jack Straw, David Cameron, Nick Clegg … the assault on the senses of this line-up tells you how decisive has been the victory of the Left.

As a relative newcomer here your observation that this site is enhanced by the absence of Nicholas might well be due to your ignorance of Nicholas and of the content of his often superb posts.
However for you to state that Nicholas “does not understand internationalists” would be laughable if it were not such a stupid remark.
Nicholas has shown here and in the other place a profound understanding of and his deep and utter loathing for all things internationalist, by whatever name it cares to be called, socialist, communist, common purpose.

May I add my name to that of David Ossitt, Verity and Peter from Maidstone in support of Nicholas’ s fine contributions. It wasn’t here before, and I see it as a deliberate attempt in controlling and dominating this Wall.
Nobody else appears to have commented on last nights Question time where as usual David Dimbleby was in the chair and the panel included environment secretary Caroline Spelman MP, shadow immigration minister Chris Bryant MP, Liberal Democrat peer Lord Oakeshott, Professor of Classics at the University of Cambridge Mary Beard, and the Daily Telegraph columnist Peter Oborne.
What I found particularly shocking was when the panel was asked the question “were the nine Rochdale Muslim men who had been found guilty of the rape and grooming of at least 47 under age young girls also guilty of a racist act?”
All of the panel waffled, all skirted round the truth, all tried to change the subject and not one made mention of the fact that these nine men are not the first group, nor the second or third guilty of such a dastardly crime.
I for one have lost count but it has been going on for years, in various parts of Lancashire, Yorkshire the Midlands in fact everywhere in the country where there is a large Pakistani/Bangladeshi community we have seen crimes that have been mirror images of the Rochdale case but not one of the panel mentioned these other cases.
In fact the Nutty Professor of Classics at the University of Cambridge Mary Beard, an awful woman kept on saying that there is no evidence to say that Muslim men are more prone to this kind of crime than any other.

And is there not a little bit of Tavaré in all of us? In the computer that says ‘No’, the trendy vicar that turns the other cheek, in the writer’s writer’s writer that churns out five thousand words of inconsequential drivel about a forgotten non-entity who could have bored the buzzards off a shitcart and then has the gall to ask whether Sir Simon Jenkins is the world’s worst columnist. David Ossitt, above: “everywhere in the country where there is a large Pakistani/Bangladeshi community …”. There should be no such places. The only legitimate community in Britain is the British community. If they do not consider themselves British, they should go and join a paki or bangla community in paki or bangla hellholes.
I could only stomach about 20 minutes of QT and thought that Peter Oborne was particularly weak and evasive. He was matched by the Reverend J C Flannel in the audience who twisted and turned in desperation as he turned his and everyone elses cheeks. Strong contenders for the hotly contested ‘BBC Dhimmi of the Year’ title.
I wondered what any PakMuz men and their (multiple) wives thought of Beard as they tuned in to watch an orgy of self-abasement. The men got the message ‘Carry on guys – we’ll ride this bit of stormy weather for you – keep your head down for a while then normal service from the police and social services will resume’. As for the wives they got the message from Beard, Oborne, Spelman and Dimbleby that they will protect their husbands above their own underage daughters – or rather, the lower orders’ daughters. They will occasionally allow some criticism in the interests of managing the issue – the indigenes must be allowed a temporary outlet – but rest assured you are paramount. As for those cases completed and in the offing? Window dressing compared to the real size of the problem.

Re Daniel Hannan, he is very, very clever and he as big eyes (people tend to trust people with big eyes) but I feel he sees his future in the hell of Europe, not the UK. I think he would be keen on the US, but you have to be native born to stand for things in the US. So the next-biggest important place is the EUSSR. (Although, with his skills, he could probably pick up Mandarin in no time and might like to give China a go.)
For me, I’m sticking with Nigel. I think UKIP will get several … perhaps a surprising number …. of seats in the next election, especially if the Tories are still led by Davey Blancmange of Hen’sArse Hall.
Re Hannan soeaking up for CMD – Douglas Carswell came out with a big “Daves OK really” piece in his blog the pther day – tge near universal disappointment of commenters.
Have Tory central office been applying the thumbscrews?
“tge” should read “to the”.
Why do I not spot typoes before sending?
I’m not a complete fan of Nadine Dorries, but on HIGNFY she was willing to make it very clear that she did not think DC a Conservative or a good Prime Minister. Why are there so very, very few who will speak out in such a way? I assume that they have all been bought. John Redwood is also silent.
If none of them will speak for us then do we need a revolution ourselves and a Democratic Advance.

…..If none of them will speak for us then do we need a revolution ourselves and a Democratic Advance.
YES! AND YES!
“I’m not a complete fan of Nadine Dorries, but on HIGNFY she was willing to make it very clear that she did not think DC a Conservative or a good Prime Minister.”
I thought that Ian Hislop was quite rude to Ms Dorries, it is one thing to poke fun but Hislop went way over the top.
I’ve generally gone off Ian Hislop who now seems to take a left-liberal view on most things. It is almost impossible for a Conservative view point to be expressed on HIGNFY without it being ridiculed.
This latest revelation in the Daily Mail – about some police beginning to be brave enough to risk being accused of even more racism, makes me ask – how much more of this sort of thing is going on – and how many police forces are still trying to sweep it under the carpet?
It should remind us all that Gordon Brown (and his various cronies) wanted to “rub our noses” into the results of multiculturalism. They have succeeded with a vengeance. Indeed, not only are peoples’ noses being rubbed in it, but the rubbing is clearly being done with the cooperation of Islam.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2143366/Police-uncover-second-child-sex-ring-Rochdale-woman-says-abused-years.html
Yet the mood of the Establishment continues to be that any criticism of the presence in Britain of Islam should be treated as a crime.
Is there no politician or party that has any effective policy – or even any wish – to change this? Can no-one speak out about it without fear of being prosecuted and sent to prison?
Shortly after writing my previous posting touching on Islam in Britain I noticed this in the Telegraph –
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/terrorism-in-the-uk/9262379/MI5-feared-British-police-attended-terrorist-camps.html
Quite apart from the matter of the possibility of the police recruiting terrorists, I was startled by this sentence in the article –
“The case is so sensitive that it is being heard by a security-vetted judge.”
“A security vetted judge?” What next? The idea that some of Britain’s judges may themselves be security risks should send shivers down our spines shouldn’t it? On the other hand, should it really surprise us?
Herbert Thornton — One acroynm – UKIP. It has a highly intelligent, articulate leader who has a bracingly quick wit – and great delivery.
David Cameron is so stupid it beggars belief. (He thought “lol” was shorthand for “lots of love”. That’s one. He thought that that was an appropriate way to sign off —during an official enquiry — correspondence involving matters that were under investigation, with one of the major players in the matter. That’s two.
How unutterably stupid do you have to be?
Hebert Thornton – Well caught, sir! ““The case is so sensitive that it is being heard by a security-vetted judge.”
“A security vetted judge?” What next? The idea that some of Britain’s judges may themselves be security risks should send shivers down our spines shouldn’t it? On the other hand, should it really surprise us?”
Still no word from Frank P. P from M, have you written to him?
Following on from Herbert’s posts, surely the time is fast approaching when even the most blinkered, PC western establishments realise that Muslims and the disgusting creed they follow has no place in the western world?
Muslims owe their allegiance to no nation or other political division, their book of hate orders that they work towards the establishment of a caliphate, a Muslim world where the few non-Muslims they allow to live exist in a state of fiscal and mental servitude.
No Muslim can honestly pledge allegiance and they are permitted to lie if it furthers the aims of Islam. This means they can have no place in the Police, any Armed Forces, the Intelligence Services or the Judiciary. Nor can they have any place in politics and no position that lets the deviants anywhere near young children, especially girls. Neither must they be allowed to teach or preach.
If they cannot pledge allegiance to a nation, then they cannot possibly be citizens of any civilised nation (or America) and must be either Stateless (as the Arab nations have deliberately made the Jordanians that live adjacent to Israel – Palestine has no basis in international law) or accepted back into the hell-holes they claim to have escaped from. By so doing, we can effectively control their movements, remove them from our western airlines and free ourselves of the so-called security shackle they have placed upon us.
Until they sit down, of their own volition, and review their book of hate and all the baggage that goes with it, recognising it is inappropriate for the modern world, that it is not the 6th or 7th Century and needs to accept, for example, that women are mentally equal (and most western women are actually mentally light years ahead of them) and that all men have an equal place and worth on this planet, they must be marginalised and treated as the second-rate, dangerous individuals they are.
This, surely, is the basis of moral relativism and should be the real debate we are having. Are the tenets, actions and cultures of all belief systems equally valid? Of course not or we would still be slaving in Africa (I know Muslims still are, but that just reinforces the argument). Islam is stuck. It has been constructed in such a way that it cannot evolve in the light of changing conditions nor the development of new knowledge (the Koran still claims the world is flat, for f**k’s sake!) and must go the way of all that cannot evolve.
Free men rid England of their oppressors, free men drove the English oppressors out of the US, free men rid us of the Nazis, of the threat from Communism and Fascism. Islam needs to fully understand that word freedom and place it alongside the meaning of Islam. They will find ‘Islam’ wanting. Ultimately, free men will rid us of Islam unless it grows up and joins the modern world.
Clear Memories … I can’t find fault with any part of your post above condemning islam and pointing to its unsuitably for its adherents to be considered the equals of civilised people.
The rampant paedophilia alone would, of course, make mohammad an unsuitable role model. But add to this, the institutionalised lying in the service of a dingbat diety who couldn’t get respect unless his adherents were allowed to tell lies about him. Islamics can swear lies on the q’ran. They can tell lies about allah and swear them on the q’ran, and and not only suffer no punishment, but get extra stars. Taqqya and kitman. Lyining in the service of allah is a sure-fire route to the rivers of wine and the virgins.
I did email Frank P and have had no reply. He doesn’t seem to be posting elsewhere either.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2143710/MI5-warned-Scotland-Yard-officers-attended-terrorist-training-camps.html
As I posted, these shits have no place in any controlling, security or supportive aspect of western society.
Given their beliefs, they cannot and must not be allowed any role in our daily lives. We don’t need them to carry leper bells, we can see them all too readily and they’re far too evident.
Peter from Maidstone
“I did email Frank P and have had no reply. He doesn’t seem to be posting elsewhere either.”
Peter he might well be having a break or more probably he is away on holiday, best not to dwell on the less pleasant options.

Forgive me repeating what I have said before. The judiciary here is either insane criminal or more likely criminally insane. From the High Court right down to the turds in the magistrate courts. The police are at the best a lot of wimps, at the worst terrorists.
One of the questions left unanswered by the ST article or adressed by the PC’s lawyers is why a Bangladeshi (East Pakistan) was visiting West Pakistan. It is slightly less of a hell hole than Bangladesh holidaywise but hardly in your top 150 countries to spend time in.
When you have an infestation of anything toxic, you call in the exterminators.
It doesn’t have to be official … heaven forefend that Britain would defend its own people, land and ancient liberties. But what about gassing -in error! – all those turds with their bums in the air on the streets on Fridays. It could be an international accord. I understand from American friends that an excellent target would be hundreds of bums in the air in the street leading down from the World Trade Centre tower that was bombed and has now been ceded to the conquerers for their allah mental case. There might be a tragedy of a gas leak one Friday and some rescuers viewing the tragedy from helicopters might drop some cannisters of gas, in error, of course. Then if some flame throwers got tossed in, it would be just awful! A huge conflagation of flambêd pyjamas with muslims inside them.
My question … a genuine puzzlement … is why this muslim infestation hasn’t been take care of by now. Our countries are under attack by a violent and insane enemy … and that’s not just the indigeous left, but tens of thousands of aliens as well, yet they get a free pass to slaughter us in our own lands.
Why?
But who would it be ‘taken care of’ by, Verity? This Government and the last two are entirely committed to mass immigration and multi-culturalism. Things are going according to plan for the political class.
Dan Hannan is the last in a series of supposed champions of Conservatism who have revealed that actually they are all agreed to the agenda that is being followed. We can’t trust any of them. Deeds count more than words. Where are those who will act? Are there any?
Yes, Peter, I take your point. I was making the assumption that all but the most malign politicians were serving Britain and the British. But except for Nigel Farage, you are right and I am wrong. Daniel Hannan came as a big surprise, though.
So we only have Farage and a few back benchers fighting against the tide of primeval sludge washing up on our shores and being accorded every favour.
Isn’t there anyone who is on the side of the ancient owners of these islands, so hard fought for and so dearly won and held for centuries?
I think that Farage needs to up his game. To be honest I could care less about what he says in the EU parliament. It doesn’t matter. He needs to be forming a real conservative movement in the UK and gaining UK representation as the only priority.
Verity, I think Malfleur’s contribution to Nicholas’s blog post is rather moving. One has to ask, “Is it outdated?”
PfM – You ask if there are any who will act. I would say that there certainly are, but that the obstacles in their way are – at present – so formidable that they are unlikely to cease to be obstacles until social conditions become a great deal worse.
While I admire UKIP for their desire to be free of government by Europe I have the impression that they are disappointingly nonchalant about the even worse problem of the presence in Britain of Islam.
So who does that leave? So far as I can see the only organisations that are opposed to the presence of Islam are EDL, the BNP and the National front.
While emotionally I understand Verity`s (if the postings really were from Verity) apparent impulse to use helicopters and such, I somewhat doubt that it would be realistic.
To my mind, the concentration should be on repatriation.
But with the population of almost all countries growing so fast it will not be surprising if even repatriation becomes very difficult. Then – following the example of China – it may be necessary to limit the size of families. And once that policy is adopted, it will be only a small step further – and by then have come to be regarded as reasonable – to introduce sterilisation of people who are considered to carry undesirable genes or undesirable culture.
Herbert, as far as I can see any number of MPs could put principle and nation before personal advancement and make a stand. There is nothing stopping them doing so except, as far as can be judged, they are not willing to act for the nation. It would take no more than a handful of MPs to join UKIP and then insist on presenting a conservative voice in the House of Commons.
But none will do so.
AWK@13 May/12.33:As far as I can work-out all members of the Judgiciary, and the Clerks of The Court, are no-longer independent. They are requiered to take a course of ‘ brain-washing into political correctness ‘(as I call it).If ,on the bench, they are reported for being non/anti p.c. they are suspended and ordered to go and be re-brain-washed.As far as I can see.
Radford NG, yes, I agree about the judiciary. I have a friend who is a JP and he was ordered to go on a brain-washing course because he acted independently. He preferred not to carry on as a JP. Unfortunately this means that the judiciary is cleansed of those who think independently.
It should be noticed we do have one UKIP Member of Parliament:Lord Pearson of Rannoch. There is also that good-old-boy Lord Stoddart of Swindon(Independent) who was thrown-out of the Labour Party after a life-time of service, this for his EU views. He says:”When I started I was called a left-wing extremist. Now I’m called a right-wing extremist;but my views haven’t changed”.
P from M and other interesting commenters above …I wrote an earlier post, and when I hit Send, it went right off the computer. I couldn’t be fashed to write it all again, but in brief, I said that the cesspit of te EU “parliament” was a good stage for Nigel and he is correct to utilise it. He gets more coverage than he would in Westminster.
I would, however, like to see him take the great leap about now, especially if he was joined by, let us say, Eric Pickles, a blunt, popular fellow, Nadine Dorries and Ann Cryer, Lab for Keighley, where she has fought for years for laws against the butchering of islamic girls an other forms of abuse in the name of allah. Both these ladies are fighters and they both draw coverage. I’d love to see John Redwood aboard because he has a knife-like way with him, but he may still have ambitions to lead the Tories. If not, he would do well in UKIP. Nigel is an articulate, quick-witted man and it would be nice to see a similar team behind him. Formidable, in fact.

“The Welcoming Land” was cited in the course of “An Audience with Kenneth Williams” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptSEcsygIXI) which is a marvelous show for those interested in a vanished, or vanishing, England.
I forget the steps that took me to that link, but once again I had initially checked something in Google and the computer then took over.
In the course of surfing, I watched a couple of pieces featuring Laurence Olivier. There was a reminiscence from someone about Olivier becoming increasingly emotional and patriotic as he neared England on his return from a stay in Hollywood.
Nicholas mentions in a comment on Pete Hoskin’s blog,Hammond Speaks Out, his watching an interview of Peter Cook by Parkinson in the 1970s. He comments on the adult and civilised tone and contrasts it with the atmosphere of TV interviews today.
For that sentiment in spades, I would recommend another stop I took along yesterday’s surfing path, Kenneth Tynan’s restrained interview of Laurence Olivier, Great Acting 1966. Both gentlemen smoke, with restraint, and the characteristic is the high seriousness of these two, the quiet eloquence of Olivier, and the striking elegance and attractiveness of both men.
If there is an England to be conserved, this is surely part of it – but hurry for ,as you hinted, there is an expiry date on it if no once takes steps…
Part 1 of Tynan’s interview can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKx3nfS9HWI
It seems funny to be closing out the week without any thoughts from Frank P. Let us hope that if he is under the weather, he is recuperating and will be strong enough to land a few punches next week.
Been thinking about Frank P and do hope all is well.
Been thinking about Frank and do hope all is well.
If one ever doubted that Cameron was an idiot, now we have conclusive evidence. Not only are Boots the Chemists the providers of contraception and STD tests for little children, but these unqualified medical staff (glorified shop assistants) now have even more duties to perform. Nanny Government is issuing Parenting Vouchers, worth £100, to the parents of under-fives.Boots will now issue training in being a good parent, along with the cough medicines and corn pads. Nursing staff, doctors, technicians and other medical personal can be cut down, but we can still rely on good old Boots to cover for them. What next – brain surgery on the High Street?
It seems that one of Cameron’s friends runs a company that will be receiving these funds if it goes ahead.
It is a great waste of money. If they wanted they could fund a series of videos which were available online at not cost, and even employ a couple of people tpo manage a forum where people could ask questions and support each other (hang on, there are already loads of those operating for free!).
Why would I trust Cameron to produce any family related material while it is clear that he is intent on subverting the family and railroading through his gay ‘marriage’ bill?
Little Nicky Clegg on R5Live this morning announcing new funding for primary schools. Sounds like no-questions-asked funding as individual schools will know best. And what it is intended to do? Close the widening gap between state schools pupils and the private sector . If ever anything was doomed to fail it is this – and he knows it. With a heavily unionised ‘anti-elitist’ Labour dominated membership culture this Brown/Blairite style scheme will just piss money away. Cleggy claims that we will see the results in 15 years time or so.
Just as bad as Camerons ‘how to be a good parent’ NHS videos coming out now as well.
With 3 kids in the state sector. I say “Gawd bless ya young sirs – one an’ all”
I was invited to attend a Colloquium on Marriage at the Law Society, which was organised by a variety of organisations supporting the normal view of marriage. There were going to be a number of interesting speakers. But the event has now been cancelled because the Law Society considers that dicussing normal, heterosexual marriage, is against its diversity policy!
No wonder the judiciary is corrupted if it cannot even allowe the discussion of marriage.

“Boots will now issue training in being a good parent, along with the cough medicines and corn pads.”
And then what happens when the recipient cannot read? Or, if it’s issued in the form of a CD, can’t understand words longer than two syllables, especially all the ‘modern’ buzz-words generated by social-worker-speak? (as patented by George Orwell, speaking through the Newspeak lecturer Winston Smith meets, who later ‘disappeared’. In the ‘proper’ movie, he was played by Donald Pleasence.)
I found this in a DT comment (on an article by Janet Daley which I did not read).
‘He [Tony Blair] literally jumped up and down, like a small kid who had been let out of school for the day, and shouted, laughing out loud: “I really did it! Can you believe it? I’m Prime Minister! I’m Prime Minister! I’m Prime Minister!”‘
New one on me but it sounds eerily familiar. There is some film footage of Hitler’s reaction when he received news of the fall of Paris. He jumped up and down. He literally jumped up and down.
Banality is not necessarily the signature of evil. There is also the infantility, even the comicality …
He *literally* jumped up and down.

“Brave New World” or “A Clockwork Orange”? 🙂
Cameron’s ever-more desperate measures to make an impact and control the voters … Boots now in the educational field! .. “gay” marriage …. there can be no such thing witout redefining the ancient meaning of marraige and I don’t think Davy Stupid is a big enough thinker to do that — tell me this desperately stupid and over-aspirational, disconnected idividual needs to be removed from office.
There needs to be a putsch. Tories who do not want to be sent out into the wilderness need to get rid of him really fast. Every day a new ignorant stupidity.
Dave, lol! (It doesn’t mean lots of love, as you imagined in your strange emails to Rebecca Brookes. It means “laugh out loud”. At you.)
From ignorant, inexplicably elevated, Trevor Phillips:
